Actually when I said go check your DNA I already had knowledge of Azeri DNA being the same as Iranic people's DNA. There was a study done on the Azeri population that proved that all the native people of Azerbaijan and the people of Iran's province of Azerbaijan are related to Iranic people. The more north you go in to the country of Azerbaijan there is more trace of Scythian Iranic people and more south trace of Kurdish, Persian and Armenian blood.

Easy the answer is migration of Azeri people to other provinces in different period of times. Have you ever been to Tehran or Karaj? There are many Azeri people there too... it doesn't mean their ancestors are from that area... it means they migrated there.

To find the answer to this question you need to start reading the history. Find about the Turk kings of Iran. Who they were, what they did, and where they came from. You need to go back to the Sassanid era when for the first time there is a record of the Turk tribes in the Iranian history. Trace it all the way to the time that Iran was officially ruled by Turkish kings of the east. Once you know what they did you will know everything. All will be clear my friend.

This is where you are wrong... Azeris are not descendants of Seljuk Turks. Seljuk Dynasty was the first Iranian Dynasty who started enforcing Turkik language in Iran. Seljuks were but a tribe from east of Turkmenistan. That's where Oghoz language bongs to. and so called "Turks" you mention who came to Europe are not Turks, they were Huns. They were from Ural mountains in Russia and formed the country of Hungary after defeating Romans.

My friend the hats are also wore by Afghans (another Iranic people), Russians (also partially Iranic tribe of ancient Scythians), and many other people who live in cold climates. Why go far? Just check the genes for Azeri people, and see who they are most genetically close to... Mongoloid Turks or Aryan Iranians? I already answered this in my other post. + Ozbecs are a mix of Turks and Iranic tribes. This is where you can only truly say Turk people really start. The Mongoloid people of Uzbekistan are in fact Turks, but are still not pure turks as they are mixed with Iranic people. Turks and Iranic people have trade much culture and tradition due to their long co-existence, so it is to be expected that they share many things.

Actually when I said go check your DNA I already had knowledge of Azeri DNA being the same as Iranic people's DNA. There was a study done on the Azeri population that proved that all the native people of Azerbaijan and the people of Iran's province of Azerbaijan are related to Iranic people. The more north you go in to the country of Azerbaijan there is more trace of Scythian Iranic people and more south trace of Kurdish, Persian and Armenian blood.

To find the answer to this question you need to start reading the history. Find about the Turk kings of Iran. Who they were, what they did, and where they came from. You need to go back to the Sassanid era when for the first time there is a record of the Turk tribes in the Iranian history. Trace it all the way to the time that Iran was officially ruled by Turkish kings of the east. Once you know what they did you will know everything. All will be clear my friend.

This is where you are wrong... Azeris are not descendants of Seljuk Turks. Seljuk Dynasty was the first Iranian Dynasty who started enforcing Turkik language in Iran. Seljuks were but a tribe from east of Turkmenistan. That's where Oghoz language bongs to. and so called "Turks" you mention who came to Europe are not Turks, they were Huns. They were from Ural mountains in Russia and formed the country of Hungary after defeating Romans.

We do have the mention of Azeri people in the history. Historians like Ebn al-Moqaffa, Ibn Hawqal, Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn al-Husayn Al-Masudi, Al-Moqaddasi & Ahmad ibn Yaqubi all mentioned Azeri people.
If you know Farsi: Azar = fire ... Baigan = the place of (now is used like "Baigani kardan" = To put in one place / to file something). After Arabs took over many "G" sounds in farsi changed to "J" or "k"... thus we got Azerbaijan.

@proudtobpersian I've heard it claimed that he was born in Balkh, Afghanistan alot... not sure though.

there are two traditions about origin and birth pace of Zoroaster. One is that he was born in Balkh and the other that he was born in Aturpargan. But most modern Archaeologists Believe that he was born in Balkh.

Pan-Turks should be allowed to voice their wants, but they shouldn't just step on people who are historically, racially, and culturally IRANIC.
I constantly see Pan-Turks making extreme baseless claims, whenever asked to cite a source, they either ignore me or block me.
Pan-Turkism envelopes so many people, because Pan-Turks include people that they have INVADED, I just find it utterly ridiculous. There is no cultural similarities between CA Turks and Anatolian Turks, why the need for unity?

The funny thing is that its their persianate culture that gives them a sense of similarity. when deliting the Persian elements there will be virtually no common ground among them!
