  • i Think Both r Very Good but i prefer lethal weapon

  • why do you eat olives?

  • @SundklakkProductions I'm classy.

  • I always preferred Die Hard but in the past few years I've began to choose Lethal Weapon over Die Hard. The characters in LW are far more complex and fleshed out and the relationship between Riggs and Maurtaugh is far more captivating than the relationship between McClane and Powell.

  • I agree with you

  • Om nom nom. AND sexay voice!

I've only watched the first Die Hard movie.. still haven't seen Lethal Weapon.

My top three right now are Natural Born Killers, No Country for Old Men, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

    =)

    Dave

  • first of all you look cute when you don't know what movies are better;)

i'm more for die hard because they are made by Renny Harlin..who is from Finland too:)but i think lethal weapon is great also...

  • I think Mel takes whatever he can get at this point...

    SUGAR TITS!

Poor guy. He'll always be Riggs to me, though.

  • He made me cry as Wallace.

But at this point, the most underated Gibson role (and his best acting) is "Conspiracy Theory" with Sandra Bulloch (who I hated till I saw this) and Captain Picard (the creepy agent villain in a wheelchair.) Gibson as a schizo. You have to see it if you haven't.

  • Oh! I've seen "Conspiracy Theory"! I think it was with my dad (he's one of those secret Mel Gibson fans). I don't totally remember it all that well, but I liked it. Maybe I should give it another watch this weekend...

Oh, and it was Julia Roberts, not Sandra (thank gosh).

  • That's what I thought!

Nice catch, Courts, thanks. I was wondering if it might be her, I always got them confused (which is why I hated Bulloch, I thought she was just copying Roberts, whom I also hated.)

Anyhow, yes, see Conspiracy Theory again, it has emotional depth, it makes you think, and then it completely scares the shit out of you. You should do a show on it.

On the other hand, now that I know it wasn't Bulloch, I like it less. Which sucks. Cause I like Bulloch now. Pretty Woman. Uh.

  • I've never actually seen "Pretty Woman", but people always say to me "Oh my gooosh, Julia Roberts is sooo good in it, Courtenaaay, you have to see it!"

I liked Sandra in "While You Were Sleeping", but that's about it. I like Julia in a few movies (Notting Hill, Erin Brockovich, Steel Magnolias) but she doesn't really do much for me either.

  • Then again, Bulloch made "Speed." And "Speed Boat." Don't get me started on Keeno, but I adored "Day the earth stood still." Just whatever effect the guy put on the film to make it look like a '70's film, then again I saw it online in one of those Japanese theatres, so it may be just a qual thing. I'm a southerner so I don't usually like movies about the south. But I actually had a crush on Bulloch. She has a cute nose.

  • I used to hate Keanu until I saw "Much Ado About Nothing" and "A Scanner Darkly". My brother was always a big fan of the Matrix movies (which I have yet to see) and his enthusiasm turned me off Keanu for years...

  • "Scanner" was pretty fucking brilliant. And I like PK Dick, so I do compare it "Bladerunner." It actually has a similar paranoic feel.

Whatever you do, do not see any Matrix product, repeat, do not see them. These are mind control devices. We must not be subverted. The effect on your psyche would be incalculable. I don't understand how you survived 'much ado.' You must be a Titan.

"You, sir, are an ass." (Did Michael Keaton say that or was that said to him. I think that was one of his lines?

  • But again, do you hear anything about the Claire Danes wedding?

  • I think my brother is at the point where he's going to disown me if I don't watch The Matrix movies asap...

Aww... I liked "Much Ado About Nothing"... "sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more..."

Er, haha, Claire Danes wedding? I've heard nothing of the sort...

  • I'm verklimpt.

  • The accent is great. You even lay off on it at just the right places.

(kay okay ya got the gig.)

  • Well, thank-ya, sir!

  • I've watched this video like 5 times now. Love it/

  • You just like Mel Gibson's butt.

I like Die Hard 1 and Lethal Weapon 1 equally. Both series has their go sequel moments as well.

  • good sequel moments, keyboard is messin up.

  • I'm going with Die Hard for the fact that I own all of them. I never bought any of the Lethal Weapon movies. The first Die Hard movie revolutionized American action movies. You were funny though!=)

  • Dude... Lethal Weapon was first!

  • I didn't say Die Hard came out before Lethal Weapon. I said it changed action movies. It's also a better series.=P

  • Leeettthhaaaalll Weeeaaaapppooonnnn reeeevoooollluuutionized thheee bbuuudddddyyyy-aaaccctttiiioonnn coommmeeedddyyy!!!

  • It sure did. Whoopdedooo!

  • Hahaha!! The ending was really funny!

  • Fuckin' Robert, ruining everyone's good time.

  • HAHAH! That really made me laugh!

  • Your having to much fun. I dont care for either of the movies.

  • I love the accent! I like Die Hard more, I think the first and the third movies were good, but I can barely remember any of the Lethal Weapon movies after the first one.

  • Haha, you're too funny! ^_^
