  • Prince Eric is really cute for a cartoon. Makes me feel pathetic being attracted to him, lol.

  • AMAZING!!!!!! :D

  • damn yous a sexy fish, a sexy fish

  • love it! I'm 17 and i still love this video!!

  • śliczna:*

"..Ale teraz po prostu wiem kim jesteś

I wiem, że posiadasz moje serce.

W końcu miejscem, do którego należę

Jesteś ty, którego pokochałam od samego początku..."

  • love it , and the song is perfect!

  • Eric is one of my favorite Prince's because he has beautiful blue eyes and he's the reason why I like guys with dimples. <3 I love this movie

  • THis reminds me on Ponyo... love that movie.. and anything else by Studio Ghibli. Umm, XD, when i was a little kid i put my finger in a candle... because that's what Pinnochio did. XD

  • Why is everyone talking abut religion on a Little Mermaid song?

  • @TheBriannaSedillo heck yeah.

  • I swear I heard this song in a japenese version

  • wasnt this the shrek song?

  • @chloetrouble1 It was!

But I think it's much cooler here ^^

  • @chloetrouble1 It’s not ‘the’ shrek song, but it reminds me of it too!

  • Ariel's the reason I'm so innocent. I love her with every fiber of my single being, and she's one of my favorite characters of all time. When I was little, I ALWAYS wanted red hair and to name my fish Flounder.

  • sweet song :)))

  • my cousins used to get so pissed at me, because i made them watch The Little Mermaid over and over and over again, but it was my favorite and might still be!

  • @TheBriannaSedillo me too :) when i have one that is lol

  • I'm 18 and my love for the classics only increases with time.

  • @TheBriannaSedillo I wish I was called that...

  • My Children will be raised on Disney channel movies. <3

  • Wait, isn't his song from Shrek?

  • @holyfrost2 Yup. <3

  • @SusanEKang im in da same place 2, but he doesnt make me feel i hv 2 give up my religion, n im glad about dat. i hope da best 4 u susan. :)

  • 0:32 shee is soo beautiful

  • Dear SusanEKang....Good Luck and God bless you on your decision. It is ultimately up to you whom you want to marry or date but the truth of the matter is that WHOEVER loves you will respect your religion views and support them and not come between them. Only one question ? How does he feel if you continue with your christian devotions ?? is he ok with that ? and will HE give up his world for yours ?? or at least go to your church from time to time ?? Ask and find out :-) GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND

  • @SusanEKang : The Christians don't know what they are talking about. Leaving my faith was the best decision I ever made!

  • @SusanEKang I support your decision . please - oh #%@^ PLEASE win this >:[

  • you know it is really cool tht ur father-in-law is a god and the king of the sea

  • @SusanEKang i read your comment it makes me want to cry TT_TT its sooo romantic D,X the movie it also speaks to me

  • When I was a kid, after watching this film, when I had a bath I would pretend I was a mermaid...actually.... in the bath, at the pools, in the ocean...ok if I'm being honest, I still wanna be a mermaid.

  • @wildwildwest1 me too.

  • @SusanEKang Just telling and being concerned, hope you don't mind. Don't worry I'll pray for you, just remember do not get away from God so He will never depart from you too and make a plot to bless you after giving you a trial. I love you Brethren!

  • @SusanEKang Try praying and talking with them, they'll understand you if they are real Christians. This is a right thing to do I know you understand, also, test the guy if he loves you too for real and if he's ready to sacrifice his faith just to be with you, I mean, you shouldn't be the one to sacrifice faith because you're already on the right faith.

  • @07pokemon "if he's ready to sacrifice his faith... you shouldn't be the one to sacrifice faith because you're already on the right faith." Uh, just so you know... the guy probably feels the exact same way, that HE's of the right faith. People of all faiths and non-faiths feel that way, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, etc. It's hypocritical to expect other people to do what you wouldn't do yourself. Not trying to be insulting, just pointing out that it's going to strike the guy as very one-way.

  • @NorLawNorDuty Ok I know, but what faith has already proved a lot? You speak like you're not a Christian, sorry if I hurt you with that.

  • @NorLawNorDuty and excuse me you don't know me for you to speak that, I'm so sorry.

  • @07pokemon I was responding to the words you posted on youtube, that's all I know about you. And like I said, I wasn't trying to be insulting-- re your private post, what did I say that was disrespectful? I'm saying that we should consider things from the guy's point of view as well, instead of saying he's the one that ought to change. Sorry if you felt hurt. I'm glad you think I have a point, anyway. I'd rather be friends with people than enemies.

  • @NorLawNorDuty I'm talking to my fellow Christian, not to you. End of story.

  • @07pokemon That's strange, because I could have sworn you messaged me three times. Well, whatever.

  • @NorLawNorDuty You should have been upset.. no.. terribly upset.

  • @SusanEKang I am a Christian too. I understand what you feel but you should maybe try to love God more than anything else. He gave you a trial so He may know what or how will you deal and face it. Just like how Abraham loves Isaac his son, but still he followed God no matter what trial He gave him. If I were you, if you really love the guy then find a way to not get away from being a Christian or rejecting your parents.

  • @SusanEKang

yeah I know how you feel my family is hoping I will continue to date other men besides my first love. But I love him and want to be with him even though he is my first love. I rather be with someone I love than with a man my family thinks if better for me than my own personal choice. I wish you luck and happiness

  • The music was from Shrek?

  • Little Mermaid never gets too corny, no matter how old we get. This is so sweet. And I appreciate it even more now. It inspires me and reminds me that someday, somewhere out there, there's someone who's right for us, whom we will eventually meet and live happily forever after with. ;) This song, and the tale are so inspiring.

And I still love Prince Eric. <3

  • @SusanEKang that is like the most amazing thing i have ever read in my life. I am also i christain to and have fell in love with the wrong person so i totally understand what you are going through, I have always been told to listen to my heart and soul and go with the thing you believe in wish you all the luck to :) xx

  • @SusanEKang Hm, must be very christian then... I 've got many buddies who are christian, and they can date whomever they want to...

  • @SusanEKang I have to ask you do you think its worth it. And what if one day you will no longer love him or that he won't love you anymore. When or if that time comes do you think what your doing now will be worth it to give up the Lord to give up your beliefs for a guy you aren't even sure will be there for you forever. Where as God will always be there. It is your chioce after all but before you make a decision be sure its right. God bless you.

  • @SusanEKang

I'm a Christian too and I totally understand your pain. I loved this guy who I didn't think was a Christian and it was so painful but by being myself he rekindled the faith he'd had with God and lost a few years ago. Our 6 month anniversary is in 3 days and just shows that when God has something in plan it will work out. Make sure whatever happens you stay true to yourself and your faith and you're not changing to please a guy or your parents. Pray and see what happens. God bless.

  • Come on.. Religion don't makes people.. the people creates themselves.. regardless of faith we can meet good or bad person.. it's all comes down to in what environment was the person bringed up and what kind of expierences one have... So I say.. give him a chance.. and if that's the one.. your parents will understand and came to love him as You do.. well maybe not the exaclty same way but You know what I mean.

  • @SusanEKang it's not important what your parents want from you..but what you want to do with your life and if you want to do God's will..i know it is difficult tho :( christian life is beautiful if you love Jesus but can be very empty if you live it as a religion or just because other people want you to! :( wish you the best

  • i think it was in one of the movies

  • omg tat songs makes me wanna cry cus i actually knw who da person whi is da one is.

  • @SusanEKang Well I would save the sex till you are able to give him that chance and know he's the right one cuz then you'll regret it and it just isn't fun to regret lol My family isn't too thrilled that my bf is a different religion than us but he's an amazing guy and they all know it so their like 'crap' lol

  • @SusanEKang wow, so you're going to leave God for a guy, you don't have to do that, you can have both... but i guess your faith isn't stronger than something that maybe won't last forever, how sad :/ i hope its worth it, good luck

  • @SusanEKang I'm in the same boat in the 'it makes my parents unhappy' sense :/

  • this is from shrek.....

  • 60 people have never been loved

  • @kristen5721 Thanks now i gotta go cut myself :/

  • @JmantheSniper why ?

  • @SusanEKang just as long as u don't 4get god

  • @SusanEKang I hope you get your guy and I hope somehow everything works out with your parents and the guy. Good luck and dont let him get away :)

  • @SusanEKang I know it's not really my business, and I hope this works out for you, but don't turn against your faith. Remember that your parents interpretation of faith is not necessarily representative of that faith, and you shouldn't feel as though, in going against them, you must go against your faith. I'm hope I'm not offending.

  • she can't read or write, that's why

  • she's spose to be illeterate... Most illeterate people can sign there name.. Thats why also like @erinsteffens said he was looking for the voice to...

  • LMAO that was the little mermaid in 4 minutes

  • Thank you so much for this video!

    It made me cry haha:)

  • love it :) <3

  • Beautiful song, thank you for the upload :)

  • Just in case you wanted to watch The Little Mermaid but didn't have an hour and a half.

  • maybe mermaids don't use the same writing as humans? maybe she didn't know what a pen was?

  • i'm going to raise my kids on Disney movies.

  • @littleduckiesocks HELL YEAH!

  • :p littleduckiesocks " In my opinion it'd be the best if children would

only be confronted with one or two movies in

    their entire childhood. "

    -Hayao Miyazaki

  • @littleduckiesocks I was raised on Disney Movies and im 14 i love them! I hate modern day Disney but I could watch the classics everyday if I could!

  • @littleduckiesocks Literally all I watched until I was six were Disney animated movies. Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Cinderella, Snow White, Fox and the Hound, Peter Pan, Pinnochio, all the ones made before 1998. And I still watch them now. The newest ones aren't the best. I'd say the most recent one I like is Ariel's Beginning.

  • @EmoKidxInxThexMaking did u watch bambi 2? i think it may be my favorite sequel

  • @littleduckiesocks you know, i'm really excited for the future because of this. people complain about the direction we're headed, but there's something about our generation that's different. we don't conform as easily and stick to what we love, even if they seem childish to others. also, our kids are gonna be awesome :) that's probably not the comment you were expecting haha but it's something i've been thinking about and you're comment just reminded me of it :)

  • i know this song! why do i know this song? like i knew it years ago. was it a man that sings it? damn i cant remember.

  • Y'know in the second movie her boobs are bigger lol

  • @LoveStories01 Well she had a kid...so maybe that's why...?

  • @LoveStories01 Well, she's a lot older in the second movie. In the first she's like 16, in the second one she's an adult...

  • prince eric was totally checking ariel out at 0:24 lol, he looked her up and down haha

  • isnt this the song from shrek?

  • @babylegs2011 The song was made before shrek. (There is no original music in the movie) But yes it is used in shrek.

  • why can't she give happiness for herself?

live like what fairy-tales do...just believe in love..

  • it is from shrek

  • @aimandjosh yeah we get it

  • @infiral28 If they loved each other without her becoming human, how would they be together?

  • the song has the essence of Shrek and Spirit put together

  • is this song from shrek?

  • Man, that episode with the contract signing was sooo scary to me when I was a kid

  • the first few seconds reminded me of shrek

  • @LickTehLollipop it is from shrek

  • @LickTehLollipop because the song is from shrek.

  • @LickTehLollipop i think it was in shrek

  • @LickTehLollipop That's because it's FROM the first Shrek movie XD

  • @LickTehLollipop it IS from shrek 1

  • @LickTehLollipop Shreck reminded you of the first few seconds don't you mean..

  • @LickTehLollipop

I think the song the have in Shrek kinda came from the beat of this lol (x

  • @LickTehLollipop to me they remaind titanic

  • @LickTehLollipop It's cuz this is the song from Shrek

  • You guys don know that there is a little mermaid 2 and Ariel & Eric have a daughter named Melody ?

  • Its funny how cartoons can capture the feeling of love better than any Hollywood romance. Then again, Hollywood is always fake, always recycled.

  • @infiral I kno what ur sayin but she also wanted to become human ... still she made a beautiful mermaid also anyone notice this is the same tune shrek used?

  • this makes me cry...and i'm 18

  • @bananayummyable u almost cired to an ariel move lmao dont worry im also 18 and i did :)

  • thank you

    @m127674 lol

  • So Ariel was sixteen when she got married. That's practical. xD

But I don't care, I love this movie more than anything.

  • This song is in Shrek-1 soundtrack!

  • I think 59 people didn't have real childhood...

  • omg this is from Shrek! :D

btw i LOVE this movie <3

  • @Rosaspina3 where can I find the original?

  • <3

  • In the original, the little mermaid gives up her life to save the prince and his love. She becomes foam upon the water.

  • In the original, the little mermaid gives up her life to save the prince and his love. She become foam upon the water.

  • My fave disney cartoon!

  • This video is very well done! Great job!

  • @4k1m1 O_O

@adaynknyte she went through a whole journey of hardships by risking her life to be a human, and she still isn't grateful for have been a mermaid and having the kind of life and friends that she's lived?

@everyone talking about melody I HATE THAT GIRL

@everyone talking about loneliness she could have always just switched back from being a human to a mermaid every now and then

  • BRILLIANT

  • The song artist sounds like Willow Smith

  • I WISH I COULD LICK ARIEL'S TOES

    WHEN SHE WIGGLES THEM

  • isn't the song from shrek?

  • @Glexs30

    yes

  • all those memories :(

  • 1:10 its a litle erotic, not?

  • that was really really beautiful! :]]

  • very fantasy <3

  • when i was younger, i used to think that Eric was so hot x) <3

  • no offense to everyone out there who liked the ending in the little mermaid, but i didn't like the fact that ariel went back to being a human with legs. it's like she is denying what she truly is (even though it is for love). wouldn't it help the humans get along with the mermaids/men if they loved each other without her becoming human?

  • @infiral28 it would be kinda difficult since she lives in water and eric lives on land...

  • @laxgurl101010 not to mention that they're 'body parts' wouldn't match up...

  • @infiral28 i dnt think ariel was trying to deny who she was, she never said she didnt like being a mermaid. she just wanted somethin different, she didnt think the mermaid lifestyle was all she wanted to live with. she wanted to check out how humans live, but i get the whole mermaid/men gettin along thing tho, that would make sense

  • @infiral28 she didnt like the sea as much as land and melody fixes the human/mermaid problem at the end of 2. also ariel wouldnt be able to be married to eric or spend as much time with him.

  • @infiral28 Because that would make sex and having a child quite difficult. :|b

  • @infiral28 cause even before she met eric she wasn't happy with i guess 'being a mermaid' she was fascinated with human life.

  • @infiral28 its better then the traditional ending to the little mermaid story, trust me

  • @infiral28 how could they do the deed if she has scales down there ?

  • @infiral28 I agree with you, we're tired of happy endings, in the real story (andersen's one) the little mermaid dies because his prince falls in love with other girls...that's the way it was suposed to be!

  • @infiral28 I think thats why they made a sequal kinda, BUt yeah i agree but the orignal ending of the little mermaid Ariel would have had to kill the prince or die/turn into sea form.

  • @infiral28 yea but it is a way to set up the next movie of ariels daughter

  • @infiral28 She wasn't denying what she truly was, and she didn't do it to make peace. She did it to be with the one she loved. A part of her will always be with the sea, as they even established in the 2nd movie, but love comes first.

  • @infiral28 Everyone at one point sacrifices something of themselves for love. Thats just how it is. You cant have/get everything you want, in Disney movies and of course not in real life

  • @infiral28 But she made her dream come true. She brought two worlds together. She found true love. Ariel and Eric both love the sea. I don't see how she's denying who she truly is....??

  • @infiral28 I'd never thought of it that way, but, if she went back to being a mermaid she couldn't be with Eric, whether he loved her or not. To quote the film Ever After "A bird may love a fish signore, but where would they live?". It's not her denial of who she is, it's her sacrifice

  • @infiral28 mermaids and men are two very different species with two very different needs. it would be near-impossible for them to do anything or live together, what with Ariel having to flop around in water and Eric needing, you know, oxygen. not to mention sexual satisfaction, which is an integral part of any adult relationship. you are being unrealistic.

  • @infiral28 She died in the real story.

  • @superearthbender turned into foam :'(

  • @infiral28 True. But how would Ariel and Eric live together when both can't survive in each other's world.

  • @infiral28 Well, she wouldn't have a vagina then.

  • I think the movie is trying to prove that she was able to give up her world

, the sea, for her love

  • @infiral28 Plus, why does she deserve it? She caused heaps of trouble from that dream of hers.

  • @infiral28 she is not denying it, she just can't live in both worlds. She needs to choose... :) And besides, how could they ever procreate with her having a fish tail? hehehe.. In the end, there was unity between the the kingdom of Triton and that of the men. She embraced her being a mermaid but she needs to be human to be with Eric... and Eric loves her even though she is a mermaid... :)

  • @infiral28 if you were in an international relationship do you think you could choose to live in both countries at the same time?? I live in Japan with my husband, I left everything behind to live with him out of love. It is not possible to live in the US and in Japan at the same time, as it is impossible for Ariel to live in the ocean and on land at the same time..she wanted to stay on land it was her choice. lol though if we wanna get into it more she dies in the original story and get no love

  • @TheViolinistHamel exactly right =] the original was sad though =[

  • @infiral28

    Straight UP

  • @infiral28 Please, get over yourself. Would you rather have her die like in the actual fairy tale? Srsly, it's a kids movie, not social commentary.

  • @infiral28 thats what the second movie delt with...

  • @infiral28 That's kind of the theme they used in the second movie if you had seen it.

Her daughter Melody desperately wanted to be a Mermaid, but she didn't want to leave her family behind. And she united the mermaid/men and human communities. Because she's half mermaid half human or something like that.

  • @infiral28 you do realise this is a disney movie right? and not the original story

  • @infiral28 the idea is supposed to be that love can overcome any difference, and bridge any gap, no matter how great. but yeah, it's totally messed up that ariel doesn't love herself enough to be who she was born to be, regardless of insert-hot-boy-here.

  • Isn't this song from Shrek?

  • @swordser2 yup
