Doesn't the harpsichord make a lovely change from the organ? The lower notes have such a charm about them. The upper ones are nice, too! My humble keyboard has a harpsichord "stop" and I spend a lot of time nowadays playing pieces like this. Miss the sonority of the pedals of the pipe organ but there it is. Back problems forced me to reduce my time of the organ bench. This is a superb performace.

I love historical instruments like the (lute-) harpsichord, the clavichord and so on. No piano could reach its authenticity. It feels like sitting next to Bach himself and listen to him playing.

And to answer your question: Yes it is a wonderful change from the organ. To be honest, I think - and even if you play "manualiter" in a way - it's nowhere near easier than the organ works.

@toxiconegro Bach is the only composer whose pieces are suitable on every keyboard instrument. Harpsichord, organ, and (last but not leatest) piano: each one has a different rendition of his pieces. And each one is beatiful.
