i have a problem, i import .wave files of drums and it it sounds extreamly sloppy i make them in Fl studio with the keyboard thing . only happens with Double bass with crashes and stuff? any way to fix this ?
omg i have the same problem, dying to get it working...how can u not just draw in beats after you set the midi to dropzone?
i've set the midi output to being dropzone1, change dropzone1 so it sounds liek a drum kit and then added in the notation myself....it looks fine on paper but when i actually play it, it cuts out half the beats ... HELP :S?
@marcusrodmag Thank you so much! That helped me out a great deal! I was having the problem listed about but was using ezdrummer as well and I couldn't find anything for ezdrummer with sonar le. I was beginning to think I was going to have to get either another recording software or drum soft ware. For anyone reading this at a later date, if you aren't using vista, uncheck the mmcss box otherwise you will not getting sound, or at least I didnt.

It looks like I finally got the answer. We may exchange informations in the future and learn faster tricks of Sonar and Addictive Drums.

@swatcats22: Addictive drums are not included with Cakewalk. It's a completely different plug in.

Try this:
In Sonar: Option->Audio->Advanced.
Session "Playback and Recording", combo "Driver Mode", select ASIO.
In my case it solved the problem.
Audio Hardware: UA-4FX
Sonar 8.5.1.17
Drum Plugin: EZDrummer

make sure you have addictive drums selected in the effects location from the track 1 audio...if you dont you will hear nothing...

It could be that your bpm is set to slow in sonar try raising the bpm up to 150 or more it should work...
