I don't like the 'keep the magic secret' crap. It very nearly put me off Merlin before I'd even watched it. And now it's in the TV trailers. Everything about the phrase is stupid, from the words themselves to the silly tone they're said in.

When will the BBC stop producing these crappy, shallow PC shows?. Torchwood, Robin Hood, Bone Kickers and now this this pile of crapola. Entertainment for tiny-minded brainwashed clones of todays Britain. I WANT MY LICENCE FEE BACK YOU LEFTY BASTARDS AT THE BEEB!
I'll happily chill out when they scrap the TV licences. There is no excuse for poorly produced shows like those I mentioned especially with the improvement of special effects and the biigger budgets allocated to them.
For the romantic side of this series, which I'm sure is bound to come, I believe Gwen would end up with Lancelot? Also, Merlin and Morgana are supposed to be foes...so her dark side should make an entrance at one point, i'm guessing.
If it follows the legend (which so far it isn't, but like I've said it never claims to) than Guinevere would marry Arthur and have an affair (consumated or not depending on version) with lancelot
Guinevere, from the Welsh Gwenhwyfar meaning the white fay or fairy, and daughter of King Leodegrance was not a black woman. Please stop your nefarious, politically correct butchering of English culture, identity and history.
For gods sake this is certainly not keeping with the Merlin myth at all, it never pretend to be!!! Its just light and fluffy fun and anyone interested enough will go away and read the original legends.
Gawd bless yer Welsh Devon Dragon... from another Welsh stray in the South West :)
It's just mirthful entertainment for kids and teens, bit of fun, that's all, not a studious treatise on medieval Britain... Personally I too think it's great... roll on escapist entertainment, it's much needed these days :)

Lancelot's one of King Arthur's knights - he'll be in the series later.

This is way before the legends start so this is why it's like that, and this isn't the next time trailer, it's better!
