You go to see a fun, loud, popcorn movie that has two purposes: to entertain and thrill you

If you want story, watch Scorsese or Steven Soderbergh

Wow, I just realized Michael Bay lights all his movies the same way, which causes the colours to always look similar. You know having said that if you edit it properly you could make it seem that one scene is affecting another from 2 different films. An example would be like have something happen from a Transformers clip that effects the scene in The Island. Know what I mean?

Your 100% right .. Ill ad this . That US movies mostly use filters over the movie. Like horrors are mostly colder looking and action movies are more hoter... and in many times its anoying too watch a movie thats almost all blue like. .. European film art deals with this problem other way. Action movies are more grimer and raugh using only optical posibilites of camera without CGI filters. And film makers usualy develop their own style using their movie knowloage.

Yup you're right, i gave that a thought a while back, and also that his camera movement style is very consistent, like at 2:25 when the camera does a 360 around Smith and the criminals, it sorta reminded me of the Transformers scene where they're underground in Hoover Dam shooting at the mini robot. Im sure there's a similar shot right around there.
