But the debt is based on FRAUD..so folks really don't have to pay for it..The FEDERAL RESERVE does! They print money out of thin air and loan it at interest!
@Keiko8383 I feel you man, all my savings are squandering with a currency that keeps being devalued. I mean what incentive do I have to save? There isn:t one knowing that everyday your money keeps shrinking, so the other option is to get rid of it, quick mind you, on actual stuff. The best thing would probably be to invest on currencies that are getting stronger, therefore getting rid of your weak dollar. Waaaaaaaaaa :(
It would have been better to give each homeowner a check for $20,000. A consumer side stimulus package always works. A supply side stimulus package to the financial industry never works.
Glenn Beck is missing the point here. Its not the homeowners who are at fault here, its the financial industry that took mortgages (IOU), repackaged them as financial instruments, sliced, diced and sold them on the stock market.
Traditionally, banks held mortgages, now they sell them off almost immediately.

Obama failed us on FISA, Paul would've failed New Orleans on Katrina & Gustav. I'm not a RP Supporter who makes the man out to be my messiah or saint. He's a man, like Obama, who harbors good and evil, right & wrong. It's amazing that some RP Supporters hate Interventionism, but when it comes to respecting someone's opinion on Politics that's a diff. story. U know better and must show me the light at all costs despite my personal sovereignty. Sound like a gov't u know?!!! That's what I thought.
I agree with RON on the Protection of Civil Liberties & Eliminating SOME DEPARTMENTS, like the CIA, FBI & IRS. Not the Dept. of Ed. The Dept. of Ed. should be lessened, but not eliminated. But, Single-Payer Healthcare is HIGHLY Conservative I believe Universal Healthcare is a Human Right. I believe in Sustainable Economics w/permanent-Interest Free Money. I believe we should engage the world as equals and so does Obama and he gets critisized for being "soft." No, that's courage.
In terms of social welfare programs like health care, housing, food stamps, etc....
I am somewhat opposed to these programs, but I would not be opposed to letting the states implement their own programs in that regard. With the federal government in charge, you have ONE approach. With the states running their own programs you have up to 50 approaches, and we could learn from each other what works best. Plus it'd be easier to manage, more efficient, which would cost the taxpayer less.
And if a state decided they don't want social welfare programs, well that could be one of the methods the other states look at too to see what results in the best gain.
Too much federalization. Restore sovereignty to the states.
That's like saying that a Lion will offer you the kill it just made as if it's playing a game of fetch. I agree with him that we shouldn't fought WWI, Vietnam, Kosovo, Korea, Bosnia & KuWait. I AM A RON PAUL CONSERVATIVE! But to say that eventually the slaves would've been freed is heartless & cruel. To say a drowning City can save itself while the rest of the Country watches is cruel. However, I love his positions on Sound Money, Non-Interventionism & Diplomacy.

I am a Ron Paul Conservative, but even Ron Paul is too Conservative. He said during Hurricane Gustav that the federal government shouldn't help the Gulf Coast. He said that the people should handle it themselves. That's cruel and heartless in my judgment. How can you tell a man with no boots to pull himself up by his own bootstraps?! He said we could've ended slavery without the Civil War as if the Slave-Owning Aristocrats would've understood and stepped aside! I don't think so!
Glenn Beck needs to let his guests do more of the talking, especially since they are the experts here. GB took a 4 1/2minute lead in this video and does not strike the hammer on the anvil like said guests.
If Obama was going to be anywhere near as Socialist as Glenn Beck would have us believe, its seems that George Bush & John McCain have already beat him to it... hehehehe...
I agree that the Government shouldn't bail out Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, because trying to prevent a two ton elephant that's two inches off the ground from hittig the floor just adds more pain to the lifter- US! But, Glenn Beck is so annoying, obnoxious and very partisan. He attacks and paints Obama as a Leftist-Socialist, but it is his own party and John McCain who supports bailing out failing companies?!
Haha true, he is getting closer and closer to the truth everyday. One day he will totally wake up!
Right now he is too focused on the two choices given, even though i think he knows there is no difference between them. So one day he'll get the whole picture and when he does he will probably be fired by the producers!
I hate when this guy tries to act like hes one of us! The dude makes trillions of dollars. so no, he is not like you and me. He is not like me. He needs to stop acting and saying hes like me. im fucken broke!!!!!!!
Congress needs to start printing the money. It would create a debt free currency thereby eliminating income taxes. The Federal Reserve through the international bankers fund SO much stuff that hurts planet earth and all the poeples, that this one act of killing the feds would produce amazing positive results!
Will somebody please tell me how this bail out works? Let's say I am in forclosure with fannie may, will fannie may just let me keep the home and I owe nothing???
@Noct.... Is that how it works. I don't think so. I think the bail out money goes to the banks, and then the personal property that is being forclosed on still get's forclosed and the becomes the property of the Gov.? It's a large scam.
The not so federal Federal Reserve, that has no reserves, has to get the Treasury to print the money out of thin air. Since the money supply is expanded, with no REAL increase in goods & services, we will eventually be hit by another huge wave of inflation. Higher grocery bills, gas prices, etc. Inflation = the effect. The money supply increasing with counterfeit federal reserve notes = the cause. We all pay for the fraud & deceit. As well as the irresponsibility of the buyers themselves.
@nocturnalc.... You are on a different subject. Obviously you are either not responding to my question or you didn't understand it. I know the workings of the federal reserve. Do you know the workings of this insane bail out? Like whose pockets will be alined with this bail out, do you know? Who exactly will walk away with a bunch of money, the home buyer will not see a dime.
I don't know about a dime, but I agree that many of those federal reserve notes won't be helping w/ foreclosures. Henry Paulson was given a blank check. They literally gave themselves the OK to counterfeit & steal money at the expense of devaluing our currency. They are rewarding the same crooks that were already making off in the first place at Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. They are encouraging the continuation of that immoral behavior. Plus they keep home prices from slipping as much to natural #s
recession is bad politically....and bad for mccain so that's why their holding it off. it will go ass up when obama gets in office and he'll cop the blame.
It will go ass up no matter which CFR candidate gets in the office....McCain or Obama. That's been the plan all along for the elitists of this world...eliminate the middle class and make us all serfs. Rockefeller can smooch my ass. I'm STILL voting for Ron Paul.
If huge companies corporations can get bailed out, I have no problem with private citizens getting the same treatment. We should at least be consistent. Now if we could reverse this whole trend, that would be something.
But the debt is based on FRAUD..so folks really don't have to pay for it..The FEDERAL RESERVE does! They print money out of thin air and loan it at interest!
