  • What are the lyrics for this?

  • beautiful!!! hermoso!!

  • and a bug's life in mexican

  • @coranglais At mexico in spanish, "mexican" is the nationality ._.u

  • @coranglais Mexican is a nationality, not a lenguage, in México we talk Spanish ._____.U

  • She has an amazing voice, but sounds like she has an American accent? O.o

  • @TheSilviepie she was Chinese and had live in the USA for a long time . That's why she has an American accent ")

  • I wanna watch Princess and the Frog in Cajun

  • Don't forget The little Mermaid in Danish :) haha

  • i think it's Coco Lee

  • Oh, ok then. Thank you :)

I thought it was german or french because I grew up with Rapunzel as a german tale ^^

  • Those who dislike it r reli deaf or dislike CoCo lee

  • My fave version! Is so beautiful!

  • Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your cow....

  • oh lawd. this is so damn good. ; ^ ;

  • does somebody have the chinese lyrics in pinyin???

  • 只是可愛!對於靈魂需要眼淚!

  • i love how the disney songs are song in their languages:)

  • i like both the cantonese and mandarin, but the singer in mandarin has a stronger voice

  • There's something I don't understand. If Mandarin is a tonal language how can they hear the different tones for each word if they're singing along to the melody as well and still understand what's being said? I've just wondered about that.

  • @MariaKyoto7 It's not easy lol but based on context you can usually figure it out, also almost every chinese music video has sub titles but i would say most of the time based on context you know what their talking about.so I guess you don't really understand until they finish their sentence.

  • @MariaKyoto7

    They don't understand it.

If you ever get the chance to see a Chinese music video, you'll see that they put the lyrics on the bottom so they can read it.

    Hope I helped you out some~ ^__^

  • lyrics anyone?

  • nice voice she has...

  • @georgieonmymind lady in the tramp is not based in Italy. they go to an Italian restaurant at one point but it's pretty obviously the states. I do love the aristocats in French and sleeping beauty in German though

  • I wish my makeup came off that easily at the end of the day....

  • WOW!! This voice literally made me cry! After god knows how many times I've heard this song, the Mandarin version just bring tears to my eyes! Jesus! Who sings this? Amazing voice!

  • Song still makes me cry.

  • Is this Coco Lee? I know she sang the pop version, but this kinda sounds like her too.

  • @appletreesubs I am Chinese. Yes this is Coco Lee(李玟) 's voice :) she is a great singer !

  • I'm African American ( black) and Asian

( Chinese ) and I know English and mandarin

  • I had a best friend once who was from china ^_^ she looked alot like Mulan actually... @.@

  • pinyin lyrics please!!

  • Man.. each time I listen to this I get chills <3

now I know how Mulan REALLY sounded when she sang this song, I prefer this version than the english... Mandarin is such a beautiful language :)

  • im 100% chinese

  • I think this sounds prettier than the Cantonese version.

  • The Chinese language is so awesome. :)

  • I would like to see Pocahontas in Algonquian, Anastasia in Russian, The Lion King in Swahili, Mulan in Cantonese (I've watched I'll Make A Man Out Of You and Reflection in both Mandarin and Cantonese, and I prefer the latter), and Beauty and the Beast in French.

  • @HearSodaRawr what about Aladdin in Arabic?

  • @HearSodaRawr Hunchback in French, Little Mermaid in Danish, and (if possible, likely not) Emperor's New Groove in Quecha.

  • @HearSodaRawr , Algonquin is not a language: it is a group of different tribes from the East of the Great Lakes. One of the main Algonquin languages is Ojibwe, the language of the Anishinabe. As for Pocahontas, she belonged to the tribe Powatan. :) But I really enjoy your point of view about the disney movies, and they should make all the songs in the language of the main characters. I completely agree with you on that point.

  • @tianmeihua What are you talking about she didn't belong to the Powatan tribe that's the name of her father.

  • @HearSodaRawr don't forget hunchback of notredam in french , lady and the tramp in italian :)

  • @HearSodaRawr That's be great! But Anastasia is NOT disney

  • @HearSodaRawr and "the hunchback of notre dame" in french

  • @HearSodaRawr How about Peter Pan in English?!

  • @anythingnew its already in english

  • @HearSodaRawr The Lion King would probably be in Zulu (and there IS a Zulu version), even though "simba" and "mufasa" are Swahili.

  • @HearSodaRawr - Wouldn't that be Pocahontas in Powhatan?? That was her native language.

  • @HearSodaRawr Aladdin in arabic, Hunch back of Notre in French, and the Aristo cats too!

  • @HearSodaRawr And The Jungle Book In Hindi., Tangled in Turkish (Though I disliked her Native Turkish!)...Snow White In German (Or Dutch according to Wikipedia!)

  • @rishabhrox1

Tangled in Turkish? Rapunzel is a french tale, listed by the Brothers Grimm?

  • @12Becci93 But John Lasseter officialy said that the movie is based around turkey..........Including that Floating Lights sequence!

  • @HearSodaRawr Wouldn't it also be logical to watch Pocahontas in English? Being that the settlers are from England and almost half the movie is dedicated to them...

  • @HearSodaRawr But still would be more correct to see Mulan in Mandarin. Cause the movie take part in China where they speak Mandarin, not Cantonese. But still get your meaning.

  • @HearSodaRawr And Little Mermaid in fish right?

  • @Ruk13 It would actually be Dutch. I know you were joking, just thought I point that out.

  • @1kissbee lol, if by 'Dutch' you mean 'Danish'!

  • Comment removed

  • @HearSodaRawr and hercules in greek

  • @HearSodaRawr don't forget Aladdin in arabic

  • @HearSodaRawr wow perfectley same !

  • do you have the pinyin for this song?

  • @LadyKnightOfTortall1 If you google "mulan reflection mandarin pinyin" than some different websites come up with the pinyin on it :)

  • is this on itunes? if not it should be

  • good song :) I know it's probably translated on youtube already but do you want me to translate this for you?

  • It's good, but she sounds too....pop for Disney....

  • Mulan Reflection in Swedish is also Great! =)

  • SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! its much more magical in this language, it feels so much more real! <33333333 I love it! I wish disney would have their characters sing in their native language in all of the movies, we can live with subtitles :)

  • Every time I listen to this, I get goose bumps...

  • its beautiful. Wish the anime matched the wods tho

  • @TheJennyWise there's an anime for this? or did you mean animation?

  • @smexyanimebabe yea.

  • So lovely ^-^

  • @dreadlife Racism isnt allowed on the internet. So scram. :)

  • @1Animechic1 and ur dumbass is not allowed to respond to me, fall back u stroke face hoe!

  • @dreadlife Aww, so many complements<3

  • I think it's badass the voice acting/sing is so in sync with the English made movie. It's like it was made for the Chinese dub.

  • Wow, I got chills ^^

  • Com'è che il labiale combacia alla perfezione? .---.

  • 16 people want to see Mulan in the kitchen...

  • @ArchetypeXE Sorry I couldn't think of anything else to say the dislikers would do...wow I should just stop talking.

  • I don't understand Chinese but it makes it sound more realistic (Mulan being Chinese)

  • It's interesting and eye opening to see Disney characters singing in their native language. (Belle in French, Mulan in Chinese....)

  • wow this so beatutifu; :')

  • I have a friend who can sing like her so well. She is also chinese and very pretty and sweet. There was a mulan play at my school and she tried out for mulan but this other girl that isnt even chinese got the part. My friend is a little over weight. I bet thats why she didnt get picked. some people these days.....

  • @DeanneSingsLOL That is so sad!D: Your friend deserved that part! No matter what size she is!

  • @DeanneSingsLOL thats just bullshit D: lemme guess, the girl who got the part is a skinny bitch who cant even sing?

  • @1Animechic1 Yep! She cn sing well but my friend just puts more to it like puts more feeling into it.

  • @DeanneSingsLOL I see. D: Well your friend is obviously gonna be a star one day, while the other one gets a job as a waitress at McDonalds for 4 bucks an hour. >.> lol :3

  • i love this version!!!! :D

  • I like the Cantonese version better, it just...sounds right to me. Then again I also grew up with the language, so perhaps I'm biased. This version is good, but she...sounds off and not as emotionally into it.

  • sorry but i really dislike coco lee and her way of singing so this version doesn't do it for me. her mando doesn't sound tht nice... like other ppl said her accent is what kills it

  • this from china and the singer its cool in china so

    its from where belongs XD

    its ok : D

  • this is just so perfect

  • I wonder what Mulan actually spoke...

  • Actually I like the Cantonese version of this song better. Unlike A Whole New World, which to me sounds better in Mandarin.

  • It is really cool to hear it in the native language :)

  • Now I know how mulan REALLY sounded when she sang this.

  • Knowing that mulan is chinese makes teh japanese dub sound weird, but the chinese here sounds..well...more fitting.

  • OMG perfect!!! love it *-*

  • it's soo beautiful it makes me wanna cry :') *trys 2 hold the tears bak*

  • It's very good also in italian!

  • its so beautiful :]!!!! its so perfect and coco has an amazing voice! <3

  • the siger is Coco Lee

  • Does anyone else think that it's silly to think "Mulan is so much better in Chinese!" or "Aladdin in Arabic!" or anything like that? The movies were all created in English originally anyway.

  • @Robodl99 Honestly I think a movie would make more sense to watch it in the language meant for the setting.

  • @Robodl99 nope in fact they sound better! :D

  • this is ultimately the best version.

the singer's voice is amazing, and fits perfectly. :)

  • My chinese might be crap and I barely understand it, but this fits so much better.

  • @ryanlim2002 Well, for people who learns or see tra. chinese, even native children often learn. Easy to learn grammar, but often forget the characters' look like. Such as "turtle/tortoise" (龜, 16 strokes and we've always tried many times to be 100% correct, stably.)

The good things are the beautiful ideographs and multiple meanings (good? Aver. 2+), 2+ cha. forms another meanings. (I'm a native TW person though.)

  • @roger20390 I'm half Chinese, woot woot!

  • @Roger20390 謝謝你 ^^

  • @liaihua 不客氣 It seems that the translation could be more rhymic.

  • Nostalgic! That the Reflection one of my favourite song in Disney

And sorry my translation needs to be more "refined" :SS

  • translation, please? and what is the name of this song in mandarin? (traditional character)

  • @Gottheit567 倒影 (Dào Yǐng)

    倒影 -- 李玟(Coco Lee)

為什麼 我卻不能夠成為好新娘 Why ain't I able to be a good bride?

傷了(Lǐao)所有的人 And all the people are hurt

難道說 我的任性傷了我 Could it be that my stubborn hinders me?

我知道 如果我再執意作我自己 I know that if I still insist on doing my own

    我會失去所有人 Will lose them[people] all

[Continue...due to the limit chara. of comments]

  • @Gottheit567

    [Continued]

為什麼 我眼裡 看到的(Di) 只有我 Why does my vision only see me?

卻在此時覺得離我好遙遠 But at this point, I feel far away from me[true-self]

敞開我的胸懷 去追尋 去吶喊 I'd open my heart, seek [myself], then cry,

    釋放真情的自我 Exude my own emotions

讓煩惱不再 And let it be (ori. means "With no worries")

    釋放真情的自我 Exude my own emotions

    讓煩惱不再 And let it be

  • can you post lyrics to this?

  • The best authentic disney movies are these:

watch Beauty and the Beast in French

    Mulan in Mandarin

    and Aladin in Arabic

  • @Noodle708 also Hercules in Greek, pocahontas in Powhatan-ise and Lion King in Zhulu-nise xPP

but , no fun, 'original' languages realy are the best ..^^

  • @cinder87aljoy WELL, even though the words don't match, I think it suits the movie better. *U*

  • @Noodle708 me too, I always wanted to watch Mulan in Mandarin and other stuff like that but I'm Greek and unfortunately the dvd comes with the european languages only :/

  • @cinder87aljoy are you sure you want one in mandarin version? If you do want, i could send it to you...

  • @hei4663 well yeah, if there are subs too 'cause I don't speak mandarin ^_^'

  • @Noodle708 Mulan was alive at a time where no one spoke Mandarin in China. In fact, she was alive at that time to protect her homeland from those whom would eventually begin the reign of Mandarin, so I imagine she would have cringed at "Mulan in Mandarin".

  • @TaiGekTou interesting...so what DID they speak in mulans time? i get lost with the cantonese and the mandarin and what-not, isnt there just a language called "chinese?" lol

  • @doseiaisha Well not really, there were still many variations of the "Chinese language" at that time. A common misconception is that China has always been a single nation. No, China was fragmented very much like Europe today. But considering the time when she existed, the language she spoke would not sound much like any of today's Chinese languages, it's been 1700 years mind you. But fact remains it cannot be Mandarin as it's reign only started a few hundred years ago. (continue to part 2)

  • (continued from aprt 1) One thing is for certain though; Cantonese is a direct ancestor of old Chinese (unlike Mandarin which is foreign-influenced), and although pronunciations have changed much, it still maintained a general consistency of old Chinese pronunciation. I'm not saying Cantonese is what she spoke, but it is pretty close. The biggest proof is in old Chinese poem rhyming patterns and Sino-Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese words that match with Cantonese pronunciation.

  • @TaiGekTou ah, i see...well thank you for the chinese lesson, friend!

  • @doseiaisha You're welcome, I usually get hostile responses for this since Mandarin *is* the dominant Chinese language today, so in spite of the evidence provided, they will not agree with me. But thank you for being civil with me lol.

  • @TaiGekTou

    Not just Cantonese...

I found that that some number of kanji pronunciations in Japanese is the same as in Hokkien except that the tone is different. eg,世界(sekai)

  • @Noodle708 don't forget Anastasia in russian! =)

  • Comment removed

  • @genzi78514 why in danish:P?

  • @kikaglt Because the Little Mermaid is an story from Denmark. No?

  • @kikaglt Because the Little Mermaid is an story from Demark, no?

  • @Noodle708 what about the hunchback of notre dame? i adored it in french (though hellfire was missing something in it..)

  • @Noodle708 why beauty and the beast in french?

  • @kikaglt Beauty and the Beast took place in France. If you listen to the first song in it, it says something about a french little place.

  • and Cinderella england , Sleeping Beauty Montenegro, Pocahontas India, Megara Greece

  • @kikaglt Pocahontas would be in her tribes language, she isn't from India. She's Native American.

  • @kikaglt pocahontas is native American.

  • @hofffan333 really>

  • @kikaglt well, yh :P

  • @Noodle708 what about lion king? i dont speak pumba too well...

  • @Noodle708 And (even though it's not Disney) Anastasia in Russian. :D

  • @animekristy1

    O.O

  • @Noodle708 Hunchback of Notre Dame in French as well, and while it isn't Disney Anastasia in Russian

  • @orgixvi3 Anastasia isnt Disney ^^;

  • @geocross237 I said that

  • @orgixvi3 oh srry, misread ur comment ^^;

  • @Noodle708 and Hercules in Greek

  • Respond to this video... and aladdin in arabic

  • @MRpolarman212 Let's not forget The Little Mermaid in Danish.

  • @MRpolarman212

And Tangled in German (since Rapunzel is a German fairy tale)

  • @Noodle708 The Little Mermaid in Danish!

  • This is NOT Mandarin of Taiwan! This is a Mandarin speaker from OUTSIDE of Taiwan trying to mimic our accent.

  • @YouStoleMyTube But still, the woman can sing

  • @Gottheit567 Yes :) She's really good

  • this song was amazing in english, and is so much better in the mandarin version... it just flows, just like korean and japanese

  • I LOVE the mandarin version, Coco's voice is beautiful

  • Gosh! This makes it hard for me to choose weather or not to keep learning Chinese! Its so pretty, but it doesn't work for the job I have in mind ;3;

  • 很好听极了!

  • Every Disney movie should be in it's culture's language and we should read English subtitles:)

  • @lizziecarini I agree!

  • @lizziecarini that would be hard but they should release the original language audio option for the movie like in mulan for the dvd

  • @lizziecarini Oh! That be awesome! I'd love that!

  • @lizziecarini I would agree, to an extent, however the absence of some of the voice actors would take away a element of Disney movies I love. I mean Mushu isn't as funny without Eddie Murphy's voice

  • @lizziecarini I like how they do it.

  • my gosh D: this is so hard to sing but it sounds awesome :3

  • this song used to be in chinese♥
