@mypennis It's the same sticking as he showed you in the beginning. (LKRLKRLK) He moves it around the kit. S(Snare) R (Rack Tom) F (Floor Tom) H(High Hat) K (Bass Drum) SKSRKFFK SKRKFFK FKHFKFHK SKSRKFFK It's 32nd notes. Four groups of 8 notes. Sticking for beats 1, 2, and 4 are the same pattern. Slick stuff is on beat three. After you play the lick, add another kick with the crash on the one.
Donnie Marple taught me how to play drums some. He was the assistant drumline instructor at my high school a few years ago. THEN he went and got famous.
watching videos, Jerome starts most every fill left handed. Anyone else notice that? Here's the pattern if anyone's having trouble LFRL FRLF LFRL FRLF LFRL FLRF LFRL FRLF it's all 32nd notes to fill out a complete bar. (this isn't easy for me, so don't sweat it if it's tough to play the notes even and correctly spaced)
fuck. if you are attempting to play any of these licks, this should be simple enough to understand. if you cant pickup on this, you definitely arent ready to be learning advanced fills.
thats becuz its for advanced drummers...u guys think u can just come on youtube and learn all these licks in no time and ur just gonna be amazing but if u cant take the time out to hone ur craft then u might as well quit playing....u have to crawl before u can walk...this stuff doesnt just come easy, just like everything else, it takes work
This doesn't take an engineer from Nasa to understand what's going on here. The lick is very simple and you should be grateful he broke it down cause when it's played up to tempo, it can be hard to know what's going on. Anyway, if it's too complicated UNDERSTANDING drums you should really continue playing "Rock Band" and think you rock... ;-)
Yes. Jerome plays the kick drum with the first left hand on the initial downbeat and rests on the second 32nd note (kick) when starting the fill. It would look something like this.

@DaltonTheDwarven Eh it seems more like inverted doubles starting on 3 with the right hand in 32nd notes. Just a guess though..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds in the original like Jerome doubles the bass notes. I noticed it sounds a lot faster this way...
