  • Oh maybe I'll call the doctor to come to your bedside and titrate your blood pressure medication, make sure your oxygenating well, clean up your vomit, offer you water, and give you medication :) I'm sure they'll be happy to do that for you.

  • @Cksprom I'll make sure when you get admitted to the hospital to sit on my ass and do nothing all shift long while you're rotting away in the ICU. Oh maybe I

  • @cskprom, Alot of patients are being put at risk because hospitals are not hiring new nurses to meet the growing number of patients. They do not want to spend the money to train newly graduated nurses, so they pile on more and more work onto existing nurses who are pressured to take on more patients than they can handle, or work extra shifts (keep in mind that nurses are the front line of healthcare, and they were already working gruelingly long shifts with heavy workloads BEFORE hiring freezes)

  • Way to go for advocating patient care!!!!

  • you obviously havent been a nurse or seen nurses in action..you are just stereotyping

  • Are these people kidding??? They're complaining of nurse to patient ratio, while all they do is sit on their asses all day long, waiting for their shift to end.
