I love this hairstyle, but whenever I try to do styles using Bobby pins they don't stay put! :( I think I must be doing something wrong, because whenever you use them you make it seem so effortless. @alelovesdogs If that happens than use the criss-cross technique. Put on the bobby pin, then secure the next one over the previous one in the opposite direction. I assure you they will stay put that way :)

@alelovesdogs it could just be your hair type. im asian, and so my hair is super thick and heavy and normal bobby pins that you can buy at cvs or target don't work for me because they fall out in a matter of seconds. my mom bought some bobby pins imported from japan at an asian store that were a couple dollars and they work fantastically! :) i think the reason is because most asian girls have really thick hair, so asian manufacturers will make products geared towards that kind of hair :)
