That's incredible !!! What a beautiful place you have lived in !! I love it ... truly I do .. and think of it always ... but when I arrived the prior artist didn't respect the villa .. filthy & she had paint everywhere ... she broke the beautiful glass window in the petite cuisine ... I cleaned the petite villa for 3 days, found the glass in the bouganvilla .. and fixed the window ... I felt Mme Fontaine w/be happy that I cared so much .. it was paradise for me... the happiest time of my life .

I lived across from Villa Fontaine from 1969 to 1981 at 4, rue du bas Castelet) and was a close friend to Marie-Jeanne Fontaine for all those years. Every few days (every day?) for a long time, I wrote her a little friendly note ("Madame Fontaine, je t'aime beaucoup et je te fais un gros bisous") an slipped it under the gate at the top of the stairs. In turn, she would write me a poem. We had a special relationship.

@tuezday81 Glad you do. I find that song very touching. Alan Price sings it. He used to be the organist for The Animals. He's done a number of solo albums since then. What turned me on to him was the song "Time and Tide" featured at the end of the animated movie "The Plague Dogs." You'll find it here (please ignore the Lion King visual; not sure what the tie in is here)
