  • holy crap that dude in the white sleeveless shirt is huge.

  • THey take that beach for granted. Tell you that much.

  • omg what an embarrassment that looked really bad for Vanuatu, how can you fight, when you got money coming in from the tourists, and a beautiful beach like that.

  • It is interesting because these people are some of my cousins from Hogharbour, in Santo. This incident indeed took place in Champagne beach. Fighting should not be tollerated but unfortunatley it does happen.

  • Do you have any details as of why it actually happened?

  • The two sides originally derived from ONE family tribe. The first group comes from the paternal side whilst the second one is from the maternal side. Basically the dispute erupted due to the proceeds supposedly to have been received during when the cruise ships were to each time visit Champagne beach. Each side blames the other that there is no equitable share of the proceeds distributed among the two sides.

  • thanks for the info

  • all for money...ey

  • It is an ongoing dispute for a prologned period of time. The dispute about the land was adjudicated by the high Court in Luganville during one occassion in the past.

  • Is this in Santo - seems like at Champagne beach - I know some of these people...when was this video taken.

  • It is indeed on Santo island, I shot that in 2006, forgot which month...it was a one of thing, the lid blew off that day I guess.

  • @Samuelgagnondotcom Does this type of fighting, or any kind of fighting happen a lot there? I was thinking about visiting but now I'm starting to have second thoughts. Oh!, was the e-quake near this area?. Thanks for sharing.

  • @knowledgeispowerfful Dude, If you did your homework before traveling you would have found long ago that Vanuatu ranks time and time again on top of the list of the countries in the world where people are the most happy.

Maybe you shouldnt go there if you are such a fucking pussy. Actually dont go anywhere, stay in your house and wrap yourself in bubblewrap, then you'll be safe. People fight in every part of the world, its human nature.

  • Kan ol upla ol pipia kan lain...

PNG bi killim upla, kan upla giaman yah!!!!

  • Oli stap fait from wanem? Man, ol man blong Vanuatu sam taem oli stap maken rabis fasin olsem....

  • Looks like one tribe is from Clevelend and the other is from Detroit.

  • mmm, are you for real? this was in Vanuatu, far far from Cleveland & Detroit fella

  • who is that white man getting involved ?????

  • I dont see any white man there, and if you mean the guy with a white shirt, he's a local

  • wtf were thay fighting for

  • read the description

  • Wow, i can't believe this video is on here. I looked up Champagne Bay cause i went on a cruise in 2006 and it was one of the most majestic places i have ever been. And can you believe it, this was the cruise i was on. I remember the two tribes having a big fight the day we were there. Weird.
