That being said, if there were Americans competing against these people, they would probably get their butts kicked. There are amazing riders in America, I know, but the European riders are usually better. Just take a look at some of the best Juniors and Young Riders in America, and look at the Europeans.
@RRhapsodylover ha dont look at Meagen Davis, thats an embarrassment. But you guys obsviously have no idea whats coming up. The average JUNIOR (not even young riders) test at only a regionals is typically in the 80's. The winning scrore is usually at LEAST 85. So you just wait. (Oh and last time I checked, it was an american rider at WEG that knocked off germany... mmmm interesting)
@8rgirl hey don't dis Meagen Davis. She's a great rider and she worked hard to get to where she is now.
okay and do tell where you got this "average junior is getting scores in the 80's." I looked and I didn't find anything. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I WOULD like to know where you found that.
That was ONE rider. ONE. How many Germans were in that competition....?
@RRhapsodylover oh ya cuz she totally doesnt have any money at all. A totally as a great poisition. Umm... ya right. And im not gonna find a random link to a show for your lazy ass. And try Florida. There are no shows anywhere else for dressage since its too cold here. And well in this competition i'm sure a few, but at the Young Rider World Cup, umm.... one. Because its one per country. You are so smart.
@8rgirl the best riders and trainers have no money because they love the horses and so they strive for the best. They FIND a way to earn money for their horses, which is so much better than just being rich and buying a fancy horse. I sense some jealousy coming from you, saying that she doesn't have a good position and you're pretty much saying she isn't a good rider, which is not true at all.
Dude, you seriously need to get a grip. I don't believe you when you say that the horse shows you go to
@RRhapsodylover ummm that was all sarcasim. Her parents are millionares. She didnt have to do anything with Bently. He came a made GP horse. He was over 250,000 US dollars. So..just saying. Me? get a grip? ok that totally what i need. Oh and check out my channel. At least i have the balls to post videos of myself.
@8rgirl haha whoops my bad..... didn't realize that. I usually don't pay a whole lot of attention to an individual rider :P
This always happens. If someone can't find anything else mean to say to me, they automatically say that I'm probably a bad rider since I don't have any videos. But here's the thing honey. I spend my time actually RIDING, not posting pointless videos of myself to flaunt my accomplishments. And THAT is why I don't have any videos posted, not because I'm ashamed of my riding.
@8rgirl i agree with you. these kids buy the best horse, wear spurs, and even have other people do the hard work for them. It's no surprise they win.. they are buying their way to success!! But really after their junior and young rider days, you won't ever hear of them again. Just let them have their fun and fame now, because later on you won't ever hear, or see of them again... maybe at little shows here and there, but thats it!
@WarmBloodParadise OMG IKR! And at least in the US we have young riders that continue into our US Team also... here in america, if you're in the pony/junior/young rider/brentina cup program no one but the competitor can get on the horse
@RRhapsodylover .... have a bunch of juniors getting 80's. Maybe one or two, but you're really taking things out of context.
Yeah and I am smart because WEG is WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES. Not YOUNG RIDER WORLD CUP. jeez please at least TRY to make some sense...and if you want to tell me that American Jr's and Yr's ride better than Europeans, then go ahead and beat some Germans. I'll believe you. But until then, don't reply to me in a rude way when I say that Europeans are my inspiration. seriously.
@RRhapsodylover im an american Jr. training in europe with accomplished trainers!! I feel soo lucky to have spent so many years, and more to come learning and training here. <333
