The Mirage 2k is an excellent fighter jet. It has rendered good service and is popular with all its operators. Just ask the IAF and the capability provided by the Mirage during the kargil battle in 99 or the HAF Mirage fighter jocks who face F16s' of the Turkish Air Force.
I've always wondered why HAF needs F-16s since they have Mirage 2k:s ..aren't they roughly equivalent? (perhaps M2k is more of a high-altitude interceptor?)
