  • I found this video was VERY inspirational. I'd watched the Robert Sapolsky lectures (and lots of other stuff) and this helped the idea click in my head and be able to explain it to others.

In fact I have used the idea as a major part of a plan (which I call the Price of Zero) to transition to a new economic model which uses co-operation at the core.

  • @MDKKnD I am glad you enjoyed it and that it helped you out, thanks for your comment

  • thanks for this

  • I have enjoyed this very much, thank you for your time!

  • @duminicad Thank you very much for your comment i really appreciate it

  • I love you but you're going too fast! I'll re-watch x

  • @stojadinovicdushan lol sorry about that, i will try to slow down a bit in future, thanks for your comment

  • @mrodub :-)

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 You rejected the source without reading it nice very intellectually honest, the stats were not Dawkins own but derived from surveys which you would know if you bothered to read them before you dismissed them. The Catholic Church does accept the Darwinian view it stated a position of neutrality in 1950 in the humani generis and was accepted as not being in conflict in Truth Cannot Contradict Truth, the difference is John Paul said god guided the process

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 The door is open if you want to debate make a video

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 No you don’t have reason or logic on your side; if many theists and atheists accept evolution then either could have found what you said silly in fact both probably did.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234What i have been saying if you bothered to read before you wrote is that atheists are not the only people who accept evolution and therefore your comment that atheists down rated your silly comment because they are evolutionists was unfounded, basically i am saying that whole groups of people religious and not could have found your first comment stupid. Essentially you went on a rant because you did not understand the video; anybody could have found it stupid.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Not true i have given you a source with dawkins that goes back to a national geographic study that included my country, you are wrong again.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 You really are stupid i am sorry but it is true, i am not appealing to the majority you asked me to show that many Christians accept evolution, i have done that, i have repeatedly said that it is not an argument as to the validity of evolution, every time i have given you numbers it has been at your request and i have stated it is not an argument in favour of evolution but a response to your request, you could not be unaware of this and are spamming, you are now blocked.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 I am getting tired of writing this in crayon for you, if you keep straw manning me this conversation is over. Stop telling me my arguments are attempts to validate the Darwinian view, they’re not. My arguments were based on your first comment were you showed you did not understand the video and then irrationally blamed atheists for thinking our comments silly, I am sure most people though it was silly as the whole video was about the point you were saying I was wrong on.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 My argument was you cannot know who down rated comments based on acceptance of evolution, it’s really very simple. Please provide evidence that atheists down rated your comments. They may have but you cannot know for sure is my point. Perhaps people down rated the because your initial comment was silly as you went on a tangent when we actually agreed. I tried to hint at this and let you figure it out yourself.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 It is not an appeal to the majority as i am not saying evolution is correct due to the numbers that support it but please back up your claim were did I say evolution is correct because x number of people say so? In fact I have not made one argument to say evolution is correct, your argument is a straw man. Try reading what I actually wrote.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Now as for it being the second time you asked, if you look back you will see I stated it was the popes position i.e. the catholic churches position, that’s why you have Catholics like ken miller taking apart intelligent design, I thought that would have been obvious. If you read back you will see I have asked you questions that you have not answered. Now where is your evidence that Christians only accept micro evolution?

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 You could also look at population stats in Christian countries and cross compares that with evolution stats if you wanted. For example my country is almost all Christian yet 67% of people believe humans developed from earlier species of animals

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 That’s an argument from personal experience and a fallacy. Its also the reason I said many and not all. In Dawkins latest book the last chapter discusses stats etc., aron ra discuses it in his foundational falsehoods of creationism. I mentioned the Pope accepting evolution he called it enriching, now according to Catholicism he is infallible and as such many Catholics believe what he does.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Many Christians accept Darwinian evolution, like the catholic church for example, my point was that its not necessarily atheists who down rated your comments because they accept the Darwinian view as many Christians do as well, so if the criteria for down rating your comments was acceptance of the Darwinian view then you can’t by default say its atheists. Its not a matter of numbers this was a response to your statement not an argument for the validity of the Darwinian view.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 ok sure send it to me

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 You misunderstand the kind of person I am. I have no intention of slandering you or wishing you any harm. I disagree with you on the question of god but that does not mean I have any animosity towards you, you could be quite a nice man for all I know. How about we take a conversation to pm were we can have a proper chat and this try time try to get off on the right foot?

  • @Lichtspielhaus234

If you want to debate make a video I have no problem waiting for you.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Most people who accept evolution are Christian; there are more Christian evolutionists than atheist, so please explain how this video on biology is about lack of belief in god and propaganda. The reason i said most Christians are evolutionists is because you tried to say that atheists are evolutionists and thats why they disagree with you, but that is silly as many Christian accept it as well so it could not be the reason.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Prove it was atheists and that their biased who rated my comments. You’re spamming you keep talking about atheists etc. when the video has nothing to do with it. When did i say you rejected evolution? You misunderstood the video, (we actually agreed) then you went on a rant about atheism which is unrelated, you’re not making any sense, this video is about biology not atheism. if you want to debate me on something that’s cool I am happy to oblige make a video response.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 I don’t need to demonise you or make you look silly as your proficient at that all by yourself. Most Christian’s accept evolution even the pope; maybe they think your videos are silly. As to you doing what you like on your channel that’s ok but if you keep spamming mine I’ll block you. I normally don’t bock people but as you censor opinions on your channel I have no issue booting you from mine for said reason and your level of conversation is childlike and boring.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 No you can’t. What is an atheistic opinion when the matter has nothing to with my lack of a belief in your imaginary friends? Or were you just trying to sound clever and witty. Ps why do you have ratings disabled on your videos and why do you have to approve comments, says everything about you really, you’re a troll you can’t take it when i happens to them lol.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 What a belligerent comment, you have no idea who has rated this video or if they are biased and i have no idea what you are talking about in relation to flagging and trolling because the only troll here thus far is you.

  • @Lichtspielhaus234 Yes that was kind of the point of the video, i.e. in other words define what is denoted by the term or in others words what the word fit means.

  • I like the study of the chickens which shows how a passive group can out-compete aggressive individuals. interesting stuff

  • Great Vid!

  • @flyattic cheers

  • Right. I am subscribing.

  • @fibbsabaddy I appreciate that thanks

  • Well put together.

  • @1140Cecile thanks

  • Thorough Job! The closest I can find Darwin coming to 'Survival of the fittest' in Origin, is at the end of chapter three: "All that we can do, is to keep steadily in our minds that each organic being is striving to increase at a geometric ratio... ...When we reflect on this struggle, we may console ourselves with the full belief, that the war of nature is incessant, that no fear is felt, that death is generally prompt, and that the vigorous, the healthy, and the happy survive and multiply.

  • @DaithiDublinI think he used it in the third edition, i may be wrong on that though. However he defined what he meant by fittest in the quote i used.

  • Survival of the best adapted would be better?

  • @7926645 Yes you could phrase it that way.

  • @mrodub Cheers.

  • nice job buddy, oh just out of interest what happened to john j. may is he still being mental or has quieted down

  • @KeyBal77 LOL he seems to have gone quiet. I gave him an ultimatum in my last video on him. I basically said you top and i will stop, he seems to have stopped lol. My vid was posted on his site but he did not respond so its job done i think.

  • @mrodub yeah he get some serious pwnage in that video alright ha, so is he a christian nut or what? because i heard him say in an interview that he wasnt with fundy christians or not to throw him in with them or something.

  • @KeyBal77i think he is a bit confused as to what he is. He told a friend of mine at his book premiere that he was not a creationist; my friend pointed out that Mr May believed God created the universe etc. and that he in fact was a creationist. So given that, i don’t really think he knows what he is, although his site is still up so i think he stands by his claims but just does not utter them so load anymore.

  • @mrodub wow that guy is really stupid, really stupid.

  • @KeyBal77 Yes he seems to be, although i believe he is quite a nice man by all accounts, just a bit overzealous and overbearing but not a bad man by any means.

  • Excellent video as usual.

  • @Dissapointment4 thank you glad you enjoyed it
