Good remake! Love it actually. Original still better but then again thats hard to top since its one of the best songs of all time. Chrissie hynde is a legend. Such a girly song. And we all relate when we want a mans attention.

Pretty generic. Kelis can be great (particularly when she had the Neptunes giving her a hand), but this sounds like the kind of thing you'd hear in a lift. The Pretenders version was so defiant-sounding. Kelis' vocal inflections make the lyrics sound like a polite request followed by pleading.
