Maybe he was aiming for back iron? What do you look at when you aim for a swish? You can't aim at the net. if you aim at bottom of back iron it usually hits bottom of back iron and falls if you have a 'perfect' release.. A swish is when you're just off, watch good free throw shooters When ppl say aim just over the top of the rim then you have to use extra energy because your aim is the front of the rim back iron is a place where if you shoot with no extra or lil less energy it'll still go in.
