Wow! When I saw that "teenage prodigys" I thought it might be a bunch of newbies playing a billion over the top notes and all like so many do. I'm so glad to see some are still keeping it traditional. They even look traditional, LOL.
Saw these folks at Rosine last year, saw Alex Leach perform in a showcase at the IBMA. I think they're all great entertainers. Wish these folks would come up our way in New England and give a show.
Yeah, they're pretty good. The mado player did a great job on his break. In my opinion, they could work on thier stage presence a bit more, like smiling, but maybe they were, the video was a bit pixle-y.
If you like bluegrass, go to this site to see a really great up and coming bluegrass duo, the O'Shea Sister. Its myspace.com/osheasisters. They're really good too.
what a good video! we watched ya'll all night at the sheraton in nashville the last two years in feb. you gave us a c.d. & it's great too! THANX! terrynsharon

A mighty good sound, from a mighty talented outfit. Good on them for so ably keeping the grand old tradition alive so well ..

There's quite a following in New England. Please checkout the BBU on the internet. Boston Bluegrass Union is a great source for bluegrass venues.

Is there much of a bluegrass following up that way? Figured Bluegrass just about stopped in the hills of West Virginia.

Alex Leach is the mando player. He's a DJ at WDVX. Abigail was their fiddle player. Not sure about the rest.

Very good. I'd like to know the name of the band (and the mandolinist in particular). The mandolinist plays a very good Monroe-style mandolin.
