  • God, I wish they could make a HO Scale of the Kansas Star. But really, it's a CP Rail F3-A customized to it. :) Awesome scene though! :]

  • and a way he goes....

  • The mother in this is Noel Neil, the original Lois Lane and the father is Kirk Allyn, who played Superman in the serials.

  • @Dietpepsivanilla Good eye! (and brain!)

  • lol

  • this scene never made any sense to me. we see clark kent later on starting to work at the newspaper and lois is already there so her character would have to be older than clark so their is no way she would be, like 9, and be on the train whereas clark is 17. am i the only one that sees that?

  • @ruscovark Clark is older than Lois. Perry White would not take her work to give to a novice, Clark already has experience, I don´t think that "the planet" was his first job.

Clark has about thirty years old when he meets Lois in my opinion. Sorry for my english.

  • LOLOLOL One of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

  • 0:41 very realistic

  • Funny as hell!

  • i love the scene where you can see the camera unit reflecting on the train windows

  • It's CP FP7 4037 leading the train!

  • LMAO

  • The DVD edition it's shortr and we can notice a cut and emendation on the soundtrack. This problem in the sound makes me think the DVD is not the original edition, despite that longer than the old TV edition.

  • This is incredible, Jeff East is being pulled on wires by a truck! Back in '77 there was no Magic and Light Indrustries, this was all by hand. The girl's parents are played by orginal Superman and Lois Lane, Noel Neil and Alyn.

  • Don't you mean "Industrial Light & Magic?"

  • Yes.

  • Non avevo mai visto questa scena.

    Fantastica.

  • I truly HATE pan and scan. Get the right ratio and U will be the superhero, ur a zero now!!!! LOL

  • Well, when you can break into the the WB vaults and find me a widescreen print of the extra footage I would be more than glad to resotre it that way. Until then the pan and scan footage is all that available for the deleted scenes.

  • Ur wish is my command. I will be at Warner's This weekend on my studio shoot. I will ask them to let me have these prints. Where do i deliever?

  • I wonder if a widescreen print of this footage even exists, maybe a complete 16mm print from the original ABC showings but that would be pan/scan, you'd probably need to go back to the camera negatives to get the full frames since most of this stuff never made it's way into the official directors cut or theatrical cut.

  • awesome!!! i wish i could do that XD

  • I have seen Kirk Alyn's and Noel Neill's cameo appearances in the 2001 Director's Cut of this film.
