As I said earlier, Senna is one of my all time favorites and he had great raw talent and skill. Schumacher might not have shared the same level of talent, but you can not deny his sheer determination and ruthless in how he overtakes and defends his positions. And Senna was very similar which is why I like them both. He and actually both might not have gotten things right in every race, but they were always up for a fight and they did not hope to win, they wanted to win and win only. Great guys!
First of all, great vid, Senna is one of my all time favorites! Second, all these people insulting MS fans and calling them "dumb", what does that make you then?
Has Schumacher not had any good impressive races in the rain? Is he also not regarded a rain master by many F1 specialists and pundits alike? Do you really believe he earned that title for no reason at all? Did you see him racing at Barcelona 1996? What about his last race this weekend, in Montreal, Canada? Great passing and race pace.
They are dumb people that still believe MS is better than Ayrton ? Poor you, it's not the numbers that make you n°1, it's Talent...
PS : where is MS last two seasons in the rain? Far far away... he needs a good car..Remember Ayrton at monaco 1984 with a poor toleman, donnington 1993... RIP Forever Champ'
Telling that Schumacher is a better driver under the rain just because of statistics is to ignore the quality of the drivers he was competing against. It is easier to have impressive statistics when your fiercest competitors were Damon Hill, David Coulthard, Eddie Irvine, Mika Hakkinen... quite different than competing against Prost, Piquet, Mansell, I believe.
Of course, and Bellof become a Formula 1 Champion....come on don't say bullshit...And how can you say that a Tyrrel was inferior than a Toleman???? Tyrrel had already won the Championship. Toleman not
Few pilots became legends and only Senna became a myth driving. One time an italian old lady insisted to go to the paddock only do touch him and be sure "he was not a fake" ...

donninton93 was wet, but not as much as barcelona 92, in which schumacher was 2nd, only after super-williams of mansell, while senna made spin and retired! also in spa 92, schumacher gets his first victory, being in the rain much better than super-williams of nigel and ricardo, and of course better than senna. but barcelona 96 was much harder than donninton 93 and spa 92, with much more rain, and schumacher won with no electronic aids like senna had in 93, schumi was the greatest rain master!!
Senna won his first race with a Lotus, under heavy rain in Estoril, 1 min ahead of the 2nd place and 1 lap over the 3rd. He was 2nd in Monaco 84 under torrential rain and if were not for the clerk (Jackie Ickx) Senna would have beaten Prost and the all-mighty McLaren with a Toleman (McLaren won the championship with Lauda, 0.5 point ahead of Prost, both with McLarens)! I'm sorry, Schumacher was a wonderful driver, but he couldn't not be compared to Senna under the rain.
@rodginez figure out the average finishing position in the rain and that will tell you statistically who is a better driver in the rain between senna and schumacher. I havent checked but I heard it is Schumacher by a longshot
i'm tired of everything lewis, such as all the f1 magazines have lewis on it. i want to read about good drivers such as kimi who is the fastest driver on the plaent still racing. or even fernando whos an amazing driver also
Lewis a looser!! your a knob who knows f all about racing if you think that!!! i'd love to see Senna side by side with him today, senna would not make a driver as he was way to aggressive and it takes alot more than aggression to get you round atrack today!

O maior de todos os tempos. Acho que só o Fangio e o Prost poderiam estar no mesmo patamar.

Stefan Bellof was faster than Senna in Monaco 84, with an inferior Tyrrel. Bellof had won that race if they did not stop it.
Bellof is the rain master of the 80´s, much better than Senna
