Okay, this is definately Stone Sour. But it sounds way earlier than 2000. Corey sounded nothing like this during 2000. I'm thinking maybe this is one of those songs that was recorded right before Corey left for Slipknot.

I guess that Corey just switched vocal style. I can attempt slipknot vocals for example and switch it to a 96 style, its just a switch in styles. When he recorded this demo he likely went back to the old Stone Sour vocal style and recorded vocals like that. I think this is definably 2000, these do not appear on any of the hard copies of the demos so they are most likely not from that era, because after the 96 he joined Slipknot and did not go back to Stone Sour till around 2000.

I don't believe he ever said that Corey left Slipknot, I think when he said "Corey left for Slipknot" he was referring to in 1998 when Corey left Stone Sour and joined Slipknot.
