This sounds similar to the aleardy existing interface created by Google Inc. If you click on their map's tab, you can scroll to other countries and where tourists have been, they left a foot print on what they liked in a certain location so that if others were to visit such country, they know where to go for a good time. I actually have a google application in my iphone, gonna make use of it and see that big gundam in tokyo, japan :D!!!!

The phone has GPS and some gyro sensors sot that it automatically calculate where the phone user is standing and which direction the camera is looking at. Now you don't need choose or click the point on the Google map to locate the picture. In other word, *you* are the mouse pointer for the world map. :)
