I'm from Ireland and that's how we pronounce it, I have american cousins and they say uh-dee-duhs. What really pisses me off is they think they're pronuncing it correctly and we're wrong.

The common anglicization heard in the United States is uh-DEE-duhs and thats how I say it. It sort of makes me cringe to hear news anchors employ a fake accent or pronunciation so I guess I feel the same way about this brand name.

well, it's a german brand just like porsche - most american say "porsh" or "porshee" afaik - and that's just wrong. germans on the other hand say brands like "nike" wrong mostly. they dont say "nikey" but well yeah "nike" like in "like".

Everyone pronounces it differently in countries because of accents but Adidas shouldn't be too hard for us Americans to say it the proper way. After all if you really listen to a German speak, you can even understand what they're saying so it really shouldn't be hard for us to say it the correct way.
