Hey man, I live in Ireland, I have the exact fricking same easycap as you...the cheap knockoff as opposed to the overpriced DC60+, nothing I do will let me record in color. I tried NTSC and all the Pal settings but no luck, any idea what's happening? Apparently only the DC60+ records in color but I've got the same as you and you can record in color. If you can help that'd be awesome, I subbed!

@InSightGamersHD i found a cure! for windows 7 anyway. in the bottom corner of your screen where your volume icon is, right click then click recording devices. double click on the microphone icon, click levels, then slide the microphone boost to zero and the microphone to 3. then follow all the steps from this video. it worked for me, i hope it works for you ;)

To make the sound work you have to have an adapter to plug the red and white cables, into the microphone jack, works great, my only problem is. I am yet to record a video past 3 min, can anyone answer that?!

I have a question. Is there a way I can record Microphone audio AND the game audio at the same time? When me and a friend made a video, it only recorded the microphone audio. I use windows live movie maker and camtasia studio 7 to edit my videos and the voice narration on camtasia won't work.

Create a new record profile by going to custom when the ezcap is plugged in to a source. Change the video bit rate something higher than the 9000. I've noticed 15630 KBits/sec works good. Video size 720x480. You can double the framerate if you want too.
