  • man we need to go fishin together nice bass you got to love the sciota

  • You da Man, Joe!

    I really like your style!

  • Whats the best way to fish a crankbait Joe

  • @berlinfbs

Slow is the way to go.

  • wearing gloves cuz bug bites?

  • hey joe my birthday is comin up and i want a new pole i love to bass fish what kind of pole would you recommend

  • @kevinlukerogers

Check out my new R&R Bait and Tackle video. There are lots of good suggestions in there.

  • @Fishnwithjoe will do so

  • Yo Joe! It looks like you are using topwater crankbaits....... what is your retrieve pattern for them? I love to use topwater for everything i can and ive caught many fish with reeling in slow and sparatically. What do you recommend?

  • Love watching u!!

  • I love watching u joe! Ur awesome!

  • @Littlevisco95

Thank you very much. I try really hard to do a good fishing show and

    I'm glad you like it.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • all these fishing videos sounds like a porno haha

  • @Dudgi66

These videos sound way more cool. LOL

    Thanks for watching.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • @Dudgi66 if you just played the audio id think so too

  • oohhh yyyaaaa ohhh no you dont your a naughty fish!

  • Ohhhh yeaaaaaaa

  • ohhh yeahh, macho man randy savage!

  • hey joe do u do tournaments

  • The fishing show keeps me pretty busy. How about you?

  • well im only 16 so i have to get a job first so i can afford the bass tournaments over here in so cal...but i do alot of trout and panfish tournaments and do really good...... well i think u would do pretty good in the tournament seen u land a lot of bass ....just need to catch a little bigger ones:)

  • It's a spot just outside of Downtown Columbus. What makes it great is that most people (not all) refuse to fish in this area. They say there arent any fish there. Just hooking up on a limit there proves alot. Kind of like the Big BassMaster Classic held in Pittsburg a few years back. No southern California lunkers here. Maybe one day I'll make it out there.

When you become a great pro you'll learn to fish in the tough spots as well as the good spots.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • lol u think that river is hard ...well u havent seen nothing..... sure we have super big bass out here....but u no how hard it is to catch a bass out here.... it takes a lot of time and practice cause these fish have seen every lure made and also if u can see that bass he can see u even easier ..... but yeap u should come down here and test ur skills

  • I'd love to visit So Cal. My buddy Rippn Lipps is out that way. Do you fish flourocarbon line? It really helps in clear water.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • well u know it depends mostly on what im doing .... i really only use floro for crankbaits or when im fishing for trout .... cause i mostly use a super mono for most of my fishing....its just the californian in me or something to use mono , but i do..... but the fish dont really mind seeing the line or not .... it mostly ur presentation that sends the fish running from u or too u.... if i doesnt look natural enough the wont even look at it... natural colors and movement is key out here

  • voice only comes out of the right channel in this episode.

  • I didnt notice it till just now over a year later. I must have recorded it on a single channel.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • The only reason I noticed is because i was watching with me headphones on. When I'm listening through speakers I can't tell.

  • Fishing in central ohio is tough. but occasionaly i do catch a 8 pounder on a crankbait

  • Just last weekend i was fishing on the ohio river for striped bass with a crankbait instead of a striped bass i only caught a channelcatfish.

  • Joe, its always a good time watchin ya get excited even on the smallest of fish. Keep catchin and postin vids.

    Tight Lines

    Nick

  • wat state do u fish

  • Central, Ohio where the fishing is extremely tough.

  • Same here in Maryland, there isn't much here in western maryland

  • why do you wear gloves

  • specializedp1rider76,

I wear weight lifting gloves so that I dont have to put suncreen all over my hands when I'm out fishing. This way I reduce exposure to the sun and eliminate sunscreen which has lots of fragrances from being on my hands and getting on the bait. The result at the end of the day is more fish and in Ohio where the fishing is tough every single fish counts.

    Thanks for watching

    Fishnwithjoe

  • i wear a glovve so the fish dont cut up my hands

  • Nice Gloves Tool!

  • I've got to start selling those gloves on my site.

    FishnwithJoe

  • sound like he was macho randy savage smoking weed at the begining....lol

  • cool video joe i was wondering what kind of crank bait do you fish with

  • i cant find Yozori crankbaits anywhere... do you know a place i can find them

  • They dont make the ones I used in this video. Hopefully they'll start making them again.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • i cant find Yozori crankbaits do you know sonewhere i can find them

  • great video, liked it alot.

What kind of crankbaits you use in?

  • great video, liked it alot

what kind of crank baits were you using?

  • I have these little Yozuri bass arms crankbaits. Theyre really small and you have to use light line but the fish in Ohio love them.

    Thanks for watching the show.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Hey Joe I just started whatching your vids, (Great info) I stay in the columbus area, but I don't have a boat. Would u know a good spot to hit bass or crapie this time of year.

Also I admire the way u respond to negative people. I wish more people would do that. U just got a new fan.

  • Wait a minute. Im pissed. Let me guess. Rangerbass519, is probably a wanna-be bass fisherman, with his cool boat that daddy bought for him. The fact that you would dog on another fisherman is sad.

  • Well for starters, in response to rangerbass519, ive been fishing since i was born. Second point, determing what makes a trophy is different for every little spot in the country. If i smallie fish in a stream full of 1 pounders a 3 pounder is a monster. For an area like his, these fish are great sized. And i think that as a fellow fisherman, not only is it immature , what you said, but it was flat out stupid.

  • No Joe Jordan is NOT the man. All those fish are so tiny I could barely see them. And he talks like he has a brain tumor. AND, he should get a ranger.

  • gotta love crankin for bass. (SMALLIES ESPECIALLY!) Joe jordan is the man.

  • Thanks IBG67.

I do my very best to make the best show I can. I couldnt afford a Ranger bass boat but, the fish dont mind.

    Thanks for watching.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Great show man, watch it all the time, what would u say would be the best lure for a pond (retention pond) behind my house? Thank You

  • Venom twichworm. Get them direct from Venom Lures. Be sure to call them and order them over the phone so you get the right ones. Ask for Dave and tell him you want the Joe Jordan special twichworm. He'll know which one.

    Thanks for watching the show.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Venom Twitchworm, ah kk. Is there a certain color? Or it doesn't really matter

  • I have a question for you Joe, i also live and fish here in Ohio. I'm from the Middletown area right in between Dayton and Cincinnati. I fish the Great Miami River a lot mostly for Big shovel heads. But i love to bass fish also. I was wandering if you could give me some tips on how to catch Bass out of the Dam on the river. It's fast moving water there and a lot of trees under the water from where it floods. I don't want to go out there and lose all my lures and not catch anything. Any tips?

  • Use Texas rigged plasitc baits. Rig them weedless. Lots of small worms and tube jigs. Avoid crankbaits in areas with lots of current and wood. It's easy to loose them. Spinnerbaits are good baits as well. Be sure to cover lots of water. Make up your mind to fish a mile stretch of River instead of just one spot.

    Thanks for watching the show.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Thank you, that helps a lot. Your not like most of these guys on here that wont help you out. I really appreciate it. And keep up the good work. Oh where can i find those Venom Rat Worms at?

  • Thanks for watching the show. If you want the Rat worms go to the Venom site. Look up the phone number and call your order in. Ask for Dave and tell him you want the special Joe Jordan Rat worms. If you order them from the site you'll never get the right ones. Dave will know exactly which ones to send.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Thanks a lot Joe. Maybe I'll run into you on the waters someday. God Bless and Happy Fishing.

  • "Joe" (You gotta love it meeieeaan) AOOOEEEYEEEEAH POW HA HA HA good fish

  • Hey Joe why are you such a tool?

  • jmans21,

I just get excited when I'm catching fish. I'm from a place where the fishing is extremely difficult so when I'm hooking up I get an extra boost of confidence. I feel like I'm on top of the world. Thanks for watching the show and commenting.

    For IBG67

I'm using a Yozuri Bass arms Crankbait.

    Thanks for watching.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • wassup joe. what crankbait are ya throwin in this particular video.

  • Joe, why the gay gloves?

  • Those are weight lifting gloves and they are a big bonus because my hands are constantly in the sun. When I put the gloves on I dont have to put sunscreen all over my hands which smells horrible and gets all over the bait causing the fish not to hit. Some guys arent big on scent but in Central Ohio where the fishing is tough you better pay attention to every detail if you want to catch fish. Thats why I use the gloves.

    Thanks for watching.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • why do you call those gloves for gay gloves?

    so childish

  • shit man california Sux ass, they dont even have place like those fishing spot.. never come california to fish, are fish is small. no fun

  • ur n idiot 4 that one

  • There was just a 25 lb fish caught in california. It was foul hooked but it was there. If you think that the fishing in california is bad than you must be a five year old with a little zebco who calls his mommy everytime he catches a bluegill.

  • how to you use crankbaits

  • For crankbaits I cast them out and reel them back in slowly and irratically trying to bounce them off of cover. In this area there are submerged rockpiles that the fish hold near.

    Thanks for watching

    FishnwithJoe

  • I fish at a small pond and there is a HUGE bass but i cant catch it. its about 4 feet deep where the bass sits. u have any tips to catch it?

  • Sometimes you just gotta go live.

Bait that is. Crawfish, live worms or shiners. Dont overlook live bait for super finicky fish.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • Hey Jo, it's Nick the Informative Fisherman I might be in Columbus around Christmas time if you would like to get together and do a video? I do instructional for the most part but we can go knockem dead for show if your up for it..

  • I am always up for some fishn'

    Joe

  • wow nice bait caster

  • Thanks

  • hey Joe.. im 13 and i live in cleveland.. do you know of any good spots near that i can go without using a boat?

  • have u been up in leesville lake bass is alright up there u need deep divin crankbaits to ctch the big ones but muskie r great there

  • joe....got to freemont ohio in the spring or the fall....i heard its good fishin up there

  • hey man can you tell me what crank baits you using and great baits for bass fishing?

  • laoznoi,

I really like small 3/16 ounce crankbaits in crawfish and silver patterns. The small crankbaits just seem to draw more strikes.

    Fishnwithjoe

  • you put crank on your bait....lol

  • man, i wish i could catch that many, i caught about 5 bass in my life, lol, and only 1 was a monster sized one

  • Thanks Dave. I'm happy about everyfish I catch. In Central Ohio when you hook up you have to give thanks. I really appreciate the comments, views and support.

  • Hey Joe - Another great episode! I love how you thank the fish as you release them! Great Stuff. 5 Stars from us.

    Dave. DV Editor. BragNRelease.

  • I like your videos but, i think you over react about the fishes size. I dont live in Ohio so maybe there big for up there.

Change of subject, on average how many people do you ussauly take out charter fishing every year.

  • Bassmaster420 thanks for watching. I admit I happen to live in the State that B.A.S.S. said they wouldnt return to and refuse to fish any major tournaments in. Fishing is very tough in Ohio especially outside of Lake Erie. There isnt anyone in the State of Ohio on TV or on the Net that even attempts to do what I do by fishing on public water only and telling the locations that I know of. Almost everyone does shows on Lake Erie if they do make it to Ohio. Also guided 2 tv host in the last 2 years

  • Awesome my friend. This is my favorite subscription. Fishing in Ohio is great all year long. The trick is to do whats right for the time of the year. Check your mail soon. You have mail

  • Thanks Hatchetman6971, I'm looking forward to the new mail.

  • We just moved so if you replied to my email I'll have to set it back up I thinks.

  • Brother you keep it so exciting, keep Ripp those Lipps. I see you...

    Obedie

  • Thanks Obedie,

    Rippn' Lipps for life.

  • slammin them bass on th crankbait -nice

  • Thanks Roadsnake. They were bitting good that day. I'm glad you like the show.

  • Well, you gotta love it, I was grinning ear to ear to see you in your "zone" Joe! I like your videos because you really capture the joy of the sport. I know we cool, calm dudes aren't supposed to get excited....yeah, right! Great vid; what kinda crank bait were you throwing? Doodles

  • Thanks Doodles. I can't help it I just get excited when I'm hooking up on fish and its always been that way for me. I cant think of anything in the world I'd rather be doing. The crankbait was a Yozuri Bass Arms series bait in the perch pattern. It works wonders in lots of different places. Thanks for watching.

    Joe

  • great fishing. cant wait till June 11th, gonna tear up some largemouth! 5*

  • Good luck on June 11 pghHunter. I hope you tear'em up.

  • Way to go joe, Nice small/largemouth bass.

    What was the crank bait

    FATBOY DAN

  • Thanks Dan, The crankbait was a Yozuri Bass Arms series bait in the perch pattern. I catch tons of fish on it.
