@piggynoogla I'd suggest looking up some of the instructional videos on YouTube, or perhaps see if your local public library has any instructional DVD's available for violin or fiddle.
thanxz, its in my elbow and my hand. so it does get better, phew. yeh its very painful isnt it. i guess i overplayed or something. i got to grade 5 after 13 lessons and got over zealous thinking i could do more than i could, practised too much, i think. glad your better now and giving so much joy to others with your playing, god bless
Fantastic! I'm trying to learn fiddle and watching someone as good as you is truly motivational! I'm only learning just for the fun of playing, but if I could ever get even half as good as you are, I'd be happy! Thanks for posting!
Thanks, guy, i like your version the best, it's the most straightfoward, yet peppy version, so i'm using this to help me nail this tune!!!!!!!! Greetings from Woodstock, NY. When i play this tune out there, i'll think of you!

Crisp, clear, and yet still blessedly raw enough for a fan of whiskey to crank it out next to the morning coals of the campfire before the day gets going. :D Thanks!
Hello and thanks for your comment. As far as lessons go, I might just recommend watching a variety of fiddle videos. Search this tune in YouTube and you'll find many different styles. Also, your public library may have instructional DVD's or videos for fiddle/violin.
I had never heard of Hillar Bergman until I started listening on YouTube. I really enjoy this music. I have a request. Could you play "Angeline the Baker" sometime.
Use a microphone, and copy the sound into your Windows Media player, then you can slow the tunes down to where you can hear every note. Good way to learn fiddle tunes, they tend to be fast.
great song i play fiddle my self but i am finding it difficult to get g string notes right any suggestions that could help

You did so well! The only thing I might add to a critique is to emphasize your bow stroke and dynamics! Good job.
