Yes, but every light kart can perform the jump.

The best strat is use egg-1 or dry bomber and take the SC w/o shroom and landing on the pier then taking the the left path.

You have to rotate your kart until the jump platform is straight then shroom and jump when you're about to quit the platform.

Remember that, if you can do some snaking in the alternate path, this SC does not save any time, because you have to use a mushroom.
