@alen209 In the video, I just saw soda bottles and the label 'Coke or Sprite' is not visible. the DPRK produces its own sodas at the Kyong Ryon Aeguk Soda Factory and probably that was served to the athletes.

@devildogjosh1942 Since they have the same menu as the south you'd prob eat the same there if you were to eat Korean food. Depending on where you go there of course. Seoul is a pretty western friendly place with lots of familiar restaurants.

@rtzz: Yes, apparently. I'm surprised about it too! But I guess it makes sense. If you want to be sure to perform optimally, you can't afford to risk eating food that you don't know. So it's probably safest to eat the food you also eat back at home in North Korea...

Still, many other teams (e.g. the Dutch team) simply eat food from local cooks in their respective hotels. But I guess the Dutch team order the cooks to prepare one particular dish for the players.

@EmperorAtahualpa The players are accustomed to Korean food like Kimchi. Eating foreign food would probably make the player's stomach upset.
