@LOUIS11233333 and that is nowhere near 70% of your last wage. so eventhough in the uk it is easier to have this payment regardless of the amount of wages you earnt in the past this only lasts 6 months, just like ayuda does. ayuda is €400 a month, and job seekers allowance in the uk is only around £280. the only difference is in spain they require you to have worked 6 months to get this rather than in the uk where you do not ever have to had worked, but only claim that they "seeking employment"

After reading that it shows me you have no idea what you are talking about, and that you are some English person that knows nothing of the country you live in. When I first went to Spain I believed that it was possible to get the paro and it was all great easy and better than the UK, but after working for a year and not getting it, working 6 months, plenty of other jobs (and never getting fully paid) you think I deserve it but NO, this is Spain man.

You're right that not having benefits reduces the amount of cunts that never work HOWEVER in the UK, if you lose your job you can stay on benefit until you get a new job, in Spain if you lose your job (like 20% of the country with no job) then you have to steal to eat. <<--- I hope that point makes sense, or are you still a kid that thinks money grows on trees?

@LOUIS11233333 wow, you are very angry for no reason, i thought we were having a general discussion, not an argument. in spain, if you have been working, you are able to claim either paro, or ayuda. if you are able to claim one of these that pays the most, they can pay you up to 70% of your last monthly wage for a period of time relative to the amount of time that you have worked... even england will only pay £70 a week.

@LOUIS11233333 and that is nowhere near 70% of your last wage. so eventhough in the uk it is easier to have this payment regardless of the amount of wages you earnt in the past this only lasts 6 months, just like ayuda does. ayuda is €400 a month, and job seekers allowance in the uk is only around £280. the only difference is in spain they require you to have worked 6 months to get this rather than in the uk where you do not ever have to had worked, but only claim that they "seeking employment"

@LOUIS11233333 Alicante, Barcelona, Vic & Ibiza (I usually class Vic & Barcelona as the same place as they are so near, hence 3 places, but its actually 4). What help are you thinking that Spain should be giving you? The UK gives immigrants with massive familes free houses and money to live on without them even working or speaking our language, it doesnt mean that the UK is great because of it. Spain has less of these types of people and is all the better for it!

@LOUIS11233333 if you have been to spain in the last few years, then you will know that the alcohol certainly isnt cheap in spain anymore, but the weather is nice and in my experience as an ex pat resident who speaks fluent spanish and having lived in 3 very different places over the last 12 years here that spain and spanish people are very nice and very proud of their great country. there are, of course, problems everywhere and nowhere is perfect, but its as good as europe gets.
