Actually, Scarlet is referencing the faux-religion known as "pastafarianism", which was created as a foil to the idea of teaching "Intelligent Design" in school systems. It purports, tongue in cheek, to believe in a "Great Noodly Appendage", which is essentially two meatballs and some spaghetti, credited with creating the world. This was invented simply to demonstrate how ridiculous it is to teach non-science as a science within the school system.
