ignorant fukk... we talk this way not because we feel like it, but because it is simply culture.. back in the slavery days, the white slave masters wouldnt let the slaves speak their native african languages, and the slaves couldnt learn english because they obv. couldnt go 2 school.. so they made up the patois to incorperate the african languages with the english to fully understand each other.. pretty much the same reason why african americans speak slang.. smh @ ignorant ppl

The blacks in Haiti speak a mixture of African and French, The blacks in Cuba, Domincan Republic, Puerto Rico, etc speak a mixture of African and Spanish. The Afro Brazilians speak a mixture of Portuguese and African! It's also funny how white americans ridicule black americans for speakin' "ebonics" but white americans go down to Jamaica and want to speak in patois...lol

They always confine Blackness to the U.S. But i'll tell u one thing if u get a black foreigner to come to America for the first time it's nothing but when they get assimilated into American culture they're gonna start acting just like the Black americans.
