  • An American is an American... no need to be reduced to our lowest common denominators as the Left likes to do, dividing us into gender, sexual orientation, race, socio-economic status... anything to better conquer us as they keep pushing on the buttons of resentment.

    Americans are better than that.

  • This explains why damn near all elected republicans are white!

  • Love, love, love PB.

  • Like it or not, PB is correct. It's a political calculation.

  • Pats great. A genius.

  • This is typical of the balkanization of America. Latino vote, black, white vote. Why can't we worry about the AMERICAN VOTE. The time has come for Americans to stop self segregating into racial or ethnic communities which fight solely for the advancement of their "community" and unite under the common mantle of AMERICAN and put AMERICAN interests first always. You're either an American 100% or you shouldn't be in this country.

  • The time has come? No it hasn't. And it never will.

  • Well look what happens when u listen to Pat Buchacnan.

  • americans like good conservatives

  • maybe if republicans reached out to minorities maybe republicans would get more minority votes. Ignoring a problem never works

  • reach out to minorities? How? Promising free tuition, health care, and other "free stuff"? That seems to be the only way to "reach out ot minorities"...and that is not conservative. So the GOP wont be doing that.

but the liberals think we need to do that stuff to get the minority vote. In other words, the liberals want us to become liberal! Sorry, 3% of the vote isnt a loaded gun that we will be cowering from anytime soon.

  • I think you only need 60% of the White vote to win an election Or it might be just 60% of White males. But if you put up to many ethnic and female candidates you could risk alienating that winning slice of the electorate, but that is just politics for ya.

  • Pat was part of that Southern Strategy among with Kevin Phillips in 1968. As for the GOP they are going to need African American votes down the road because the GOP is going to remain a southern party.

  • you are right on.

  • He's right but you know what s funny? He forgetting how drastically the demographic for this country shifts every four years. If the Republicans continue to espouse these outdated strategies, then they will ensure that Barack will be in office another four years..

  • yes, the GOP has no incentive to reach out to a voter base that they have basically given away to the Democrats for decades. No reason at all.

  • Buchanan laying down the law.

  • pat is drawing you a blueprint for why the republican party is dying. Tavis pointed out that there are repubs other than white. pat points out what everyone else already knows, the "White-wing conservatives have survived on a whites only platform. they will add a few brown faces to deflect the racism claims. slave masters used blacks who curried their favor to catch runaways. any minority who supports them is a self hating loser begging 2 b accepted by ppl who hate them. good luck with that!!!!!

  • Pat is right and I am an African American, albeit a Republican.

  • Pat is technically right; in the short term, it is the right move. That doesn't make it a smart move in the *long* term. It looks at things, pardon the pun, very conservatively.

Pat assumes that the minority vote is unimportant, so they shouldn't go for it. Well, if they don't go for it, then it will *continue* to be unimportant. The problem with what Pat is saying is that it guarantees that Reps will continue to be the party of old white males. Ignoring voters won't get them to vote for you.

  • He's right, hes looking at it from a cost benifit viewpoint.

  • A racist? He's just telling the truth, it's pure numbers.

  • Although I'm a flaming Democrat, Pat Buchanan is right. GOP candidates has no incentive that early in the game.

  • I don't think he was snubbing minority voters...he was simply saying don't go to areas where most people will vote democrat...

  • I'd like to know exactly what it was that Pat said that was racist. (Nothing.) He is a great America..

  • pat buchanan has become more liberal than b4 when he ran against george h.w. bush

  • Pat Buchanan is a racist

  • Obama is also half white

  • this great standard of living is a double eadged sword,,we also have a bunch of a.d.d cases,,,increased asthma cases,,,mercury in our fish,,100 or so industrial chemicals in our bodies and both parents in most cases have to work,,so take your christian,,white bread bullshit and stick it up ass,,you suck

  • And we ALL know about the "honorable" black race right?! LMAO ... AFrica is full of RAPIST nigs w/ AIDS who RAPE women & children b/c they believe screwing a virgin rids them of aids.... and YOU THINK YOUR NASTY RACE IS ANY BETTER THAN WHITES? You stupid idiots... you are 13% of USA population & you fill over 60% of our JAILS So do NOT preach to ANYONE about their behavior ... got it monkey? GOOD

You should thank WHITES that you are not in Africa DYING OF AIDS THIS MINUTE or fucking some goat!

  • Our President is of African decent ASSHOLE! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Racist Fuck! Obama WON!!!! How do you know all that info? Are you from Africa yourself? I bet you have respect for Black people NOW!! WE RUN THE COUNTRY JACKASS!!

  • This is the thing people fail to realize, white people particularly. When we talk about White Supremacy, we're not talking about individual, WERE TALKING ABOUT INSTITUTIONAL!!!! UNDERSTAND THIS!!!!!

  • Pat is dead on as always. He didn't say it was morally right, he said it was the best way to the nomination.

  • Yes we are sorry for enslving blacks, because now their here! It is the worst mistake we ever made. We should of left you in Africa. You ungratful nig.

  • haha, the problem was that white people were too fragile to effectively work the fields of the deep south in the baking sun.. especially with no sunscreen, etc. You get sunburned and cancer too quickly. Now that blacks refuse to do that work you bring in the mexicans... and then complain about them too! Ha, do you know how much food would cost without mexicans?

  • Good point.

  • AHAHHAHAAH

  • just be grateful for the standard of living you enjoy today..without the white race you would not have it so good

  • im mixed race and im proud of the white side of my lineage, but the standard of living I enjoy is because of Christian society, before Christianity europe had a lower standard of living than other places. So jut be grateful for Christians or you atheist white supremacists would not have it so good.

  • Black People RUN THE COUNTRY NOW ASSHOLE!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

  • in the end your labour is replaceable...our intelligence is not.

  • It's not about blacks people thinking everything is about us. It's about us recognizing the devil and his minions when they are on full display and we've had a front row seat to the evil of Europeans and their American legacy for over 200 years now. That makes us experts on the "cracker ass cracker".

  • And for all of you white people who want to claim innocence because you yourself didn't enslave any Africans, or because you yourself didn't swindle any natives, or because you yourself didn't drop any atomic bombs on civilians, or you yourself didn't colonize, rape and then abandon any foreign nations, ask yourself this. What have I done to reverse the legacy of my ancestors? Probably not much. The members of the GOP, some of whom are black yes, have showed their true colors the past 8 years.

  • Remember white people, you reap what you sow. Europeans stole this land from the native inhabitants, stole hundreds of millions of African to come and live a life of slavery for centuries and have continued to perpetuate a racist mindset across the globe using the lie of Christianity as their biggest tool of oppression. Like every other supposed great nation in history, this one too shall fall.

  • Racially harmony? Give it up, it will never happen. The secret to white supremacy is to keep the rest of the world divided by bullshit like religion and culture. The bottom line is that the descendants of Europeans are the cause and root for all that is wrong with the world. When the rest of the world realizes that 3/4 of the world is non-white then we can rid the earth of the plague that is the white man. It's coming sooner than you think.

  • whatimeanttosaywas... it's monkeys like YOU that just make it impossible for me to have any respect for you pathetic jailbird nigs!! I don't owe any of you A DAM thinG. I am PRouD to be white - GET OVER IT NIG

  • It's not a big deal.

But blacks think everything is about them, and if they don't get attention from YT den it be rayciss. The reality of the numbers game that is politics is beyond their understanding.

If you wan't to win, you of course have got to focus on people who will get you the most votes.

Taking your time just to go and say HI to a constituency whose numbers are pitifully small, like, say, Black Republicans, is a waste of your time.

  • He had the appropriate look on his face while he was listening to that garbage that Pat Buchanan was saying,Pat Buchanan is a great racist

  • What Pat Buchanan is saying is totally correct. He's just giving an honest statement. He should not be slandered for expressing an honest assessment of something.

  • racists only have power when people listen to their foolishness and give them some kind of credibility

  • Listening to them does not empower them, they are already empowered because of their close-minded views, they give themselves credibility.People who listen to them should try to educate them

  • I don't get the big deal of this video.

  • Good, we need more black racists in this country. White people are full of shit and have been forever. What we need to happen is for some of the so called "Thugs" in the hood to start bucking on some of you crackers then I bet ya'll white asses would learn to shut the fuck up. Fuck Buchannan, fuck Bush, Fuck Cheney, Fuck Rumsfeld and fuck Condaleeza Rice's sell out ass. Most of all fuck you cracker ass crackers. The revolution is coming.

  • And we have another destructive thinker. GJ

  • so called "thugs"? Bring their illiterate asses on. Black people and white people alike would win quite handily. When you're ready to educate yourself on the issues come back and talk to us. Don't call us crackers, I'm pretty sure I don't whip black people, and find it exceptionally offensive. I don't call black people offensive slurs do I?

Your thugs in the hood need to listen to Oprah and Bill Cosby.

  • I think 'snub' is a bit harsh with regard to word selection. It isn't that the candidates have negative feelings toward minority republicans, its that minorities all flock to the democrat party instead of the republican party anyways, so there quite simply isn't much for the republicans to gain by campaigning for their votes. If the minorities would actually vote republican a significant enough fraction of the time, maybe republican candidates would pay more attention to them..... (duh...)

  • Pat is a racist!! Hands down!!!

  • Is there a law that says it's illegal to be a racist? Everyone is entitled to their views and beliefs, but the liberal fascists would rather it be their way or no way.

  • Pat seems like a reasonable man.

  • And how is he snubbing minority voters???

  • SNUBBING? Oh, please. He's just saying that there are not Republicans are non-white, Republicans will perfectly get a nominee without the help from them. But in general election, the Democrats will use this leverage to win, which is a problem. He argues it on the facts, it's not like he's being rude or anything.

  • Things will change? What, we will have a 3rd world America? Lovley. We are tired of the hispanics. GET OUT!

  • Pat gets it 100%

  • Governor Huckabee also attended the debate, from all the reviews I have seen everybody believes he won the debate.

    Go Huckabee

  • "Voters of color", or "Colored people"? The NAACP. I'm confused. Afro-Ameri oops, I mean Black? Or er...Native African, I mean...uh...

  • God, I don't get it either. 'People of color' is politically correct and 'colored people' is offensive...???

  • Your premise is flawed. Multicultarism leads to balkanization. Why add forces that pull at the fabric of a country's culture? homogeneity is a good thing and not the same as racism as I am sure will be charged.

  • Tavis Smiley is annoying.

  • If the only way for Republicans to pander to minorities is to be pro-AA for 10% of 10% of the minority votes, then they will lose. Its a simple matter of mathematics, just as it is for Democrats a simple matter of mathematics. Pat is just being rational. Just like only a rational person would oppose AA.

  • he nigger is on public access cheannel 10, at least here in las vegas...fuck him!

  • glad to see America is bursting with intelligent and coherent, critical thinking minds like you!Why don't you run for president? You would fit in great along the bush administrations speech drafters for your grammar and spell checking.

  • zoticus? I love you!

  • are you implying bush is a white racist? lol. bc all us white racists LOVE the open borders and completely free trade, the no child left behind acts, the affirmative action, the slow loss of freedom of association and freedom of speech.....yeah...bush is a super guy...heil bush. (total sarcasm)

  • Tavis is clearly such a complete douche-bag TOOL ... I mean really, this isn't rocket science, it's some pretty simple shit.

    Again Buchanan pawns ALL!!!

  • your a moron you have the ability to refute what he said but relegate to calling names of a intellect and credible media figure? And who are you fuck head!

  • Oh my 'zoticus1', YOU think Tavis Smiley is an "intellect" not to mention a "credible" media figure ... & I'm the moron!?! I'd love to know why YOU'd think little Tavy-boy is an intellect, oh yea, I forgot he got a bachelors from Indiana State & had an internship with Tom Bradley. I'm SO sorry, with credentials like that YOU're SO right, he's a REAL BIG intellect alright! I'm sure someday he will take his place next to the giant intellects of history, Plato, Socrates! ............

  • ............ BUT for now, I think he best be getting back to the fry grill, before Mr. White, the night manager at McDonald's fires his ass for slacking on the job AGAIN. As for YOU- Mr. Hypocrite ... YOU scold me for name calling, then YOU call me- "fuck head" I LOVE IT! that REALLY lets YOUR personal integrity shine through for ALL to see. ............

  • ............ Hey 'zoticus1' you know what I heard, Mr. Whitey has another opening at McDonald's, it's for a toilet scrubber, it's not as good as Tavy's job, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, & I think for YOU, the TOILET is a perfect home, right in there with the lemon-aid & brown dumplings ... :O) --- OXOXO

  • Sow, You have degenerated this discussion to a place that we really shouldn't be. You trash Tavis' B.A. and internship, but yet it is the same conservs. that think that Hannity, and Rush are intellects and they are college dropouts. (THAT IS INTERESTING) It seems that we are working from to different standards.

  • "You trash Tavis' B.A. and internship, but yet it is the same conservs that think that Hannity, and Rush are intellects and they are college dropouts."

    Wait- pause. Whoa there.

Who, I say, WHO has called Sean Hannity an "intellect"?!? I MUST know this.

I'm 25, too young to remember when there were such things as public intellectuals. Even as late as the '70s, they still had some presence. But now, the standards have apparantly sunk so low that the likes of Coulter and Hannity are passing?

  • LOL, good point. Hannity and Coulter are Republican water-carriers with bumper sticker slogans. They don't carry the banner for conservatism. I would point to people like William F. Buckley, Pat Buchanan, Walter Williams, and Thomas Sowell as today's conservative intellectuals. There aren't any new young ones on the horizon as far as I can see though. (Dinish DeSouza is a moron.)

  • What on earth have you got against Tavis Smiley?

  • If you're going to accuse Tavis Smiley of being a racist, you'd better be able to come up with something resembling a good reason. Otherwise, keep your blind, indiscriminate paranoia to yourself.

  • give an example of Tavis' so called racism before accusing him of it. U seem just as ignorant as Buchanan

  • lol, yeah, okay.

  • The pt is refusing to show up for these events makes a poor statement & they'll PAY IN THE LONG RUN. Remember Bush barely won the election b/c of OHIO & they had the largest Black repub turnout. (The little things can make a big difference)

  • If the repubs want to be the BIG TENT PARTY that they claim they to be, they are going to have to get off there high horses and start interacting with people and other focus groups that are not white and male. Otherwise, they will continue to be the SHRINKING PARTY. (Going to multi-ethnic forums makes for GOOD INVESTMENTS in the future)

  • Ron Paul 2008!

  • Tavis is such an incompetent affirmative action media figure. The guy can't even speak clearly.

  • It is interesting how people put their perceptions before the reality. Tavis has not really said much in this piece, but yet he is not articulate? lol lol This speaks volumes of you and your own ethos!

  • He is right, in that the "top-tier" candidates only do things that benifit them. For the same reason, they only go to first primary states instead of all of them.

  • This guy gets his ass handed to him every time he's on the McLaughlin Group. So I have trouble taking him seriously.

  • Pat Buchanan is a smart man..

  • Pat is a true patriot and is right on, once again.

  • Is he really "right on"? Take a look at 1:29...he can't even distinguish between African-Americans and Latinos...hence the reason why Tavis is shaking his head. To Republican candidates, colored people are all the same.

  • He's right. I wish he'd run for President again, no one else is worth voting for.

  • Reality is always sacrificed first on the P.C. alter.

  • would you rather be called african american, then go to africa you unamerican jackass.because you cant be both.........

  • he was a grand wizard of the kkk and is a democrat. still in office and check the record.

  • This isn't racist at all. From a strategic perspective why in the heck would a Republican spend hundreds of precious campaign hours trying to court votes from a small segment that is historically staunchly Democratic?

And why are Republicans always the ones blamed for the lack of success with minority voters? Maybe minorities should be blamed for being so closed-minded, for continuing to eat the shit sandwich that the Democrats serve up to them.

  • lol - indeed.

  • ABSOLUTELY bobbycarolina75. Pat is totally right.

Ron Paul 2008 for peace and freedom!

  • Ron Paul attended that debate because Americans invited him. He didn't care which *group* of Americans it was, only that they were American.

  • notgiuliani dot com

  • While Mayor in NY Guiliani did alot for the colored of that city. He deserves the minority vote more than any other candidate republican or democrat & he has alot of colored friends.

    Iran's the Plan

    Guliani 08

  • "colored". Have you been asleep for 40 years? What an asshole!

  • if 10 percent of 10 percent will vote for you IF you cater to them...how is that politically sound to take time and money to address their concerns....

  • What was wrong with that, fucking PC police.

  • LOL carpentaerale "do both the hispanic thing and the african american thing"

  • Pat's reasoning was correct for yesterday, not for today. Voters in the early primaries watch TV, too. They have the Internet. It is a mistake NOW for ALL of the Republican front-runners to ignore all minority forums.

  • "they gotta do both the hispanic thing and the african american thing."

  • If you want the truth or nearest to the truth, then Pat Buchanan is one of the finest. What I can not accept at all is when a minority group uses a portion of their time to speak for Illegal Aliens "Rights" or those which frown upon America as being only a Christian Country. That should always remain Untouched and neither an American "Majority" or "Minority" has a Right to speak against OUR Constitutional Beliefs. However, it appears that the above interview is not directly involved in this.

  • fuck off douchebag

  • The absolute best short Ron Paul video to date, "Ron Paul People". I wish we could get this on TV. It's just great.

  • Maybe Veracifier could jump back in here and tell us why we need separate but equal debates in the first place.

Those who aren't familiar with the term might want to search for 'Gramscian'.

I note also that the first Tavis Smiley "debate" didn't have any immigration questions, despite having RubenNavarrette on the panel. Gosh, that's odd.

  • gotta agree with buchanan as much as it hurts me to say so

  • Just because it is not making a difference in Jan. doesnt mean it is not their duty to answer the questions and serve ALL of our citizens

  • I find it interesting how when someone uploads a video like this they allow comments from ALL users but when a rightwinger uploads a video more often than not they delete comments they don't like because they are COWARDS who FEAR free speech. A perfect example is the clip- Rush Challenges Harry Reid: "Say it to my Face". The person who uploaded keeps deleting all anti-Rush comments! Typical Repub- when you can't debate just censor! LOL!

  • Its not even Election year, and I am already so fed up with all this crap! When 2008 rolls around, people are going to be vomiting in the streets when they see the election ads hitting the TV and the corner EMPTY LOT that used to be a business.

  • It's sad too, because black Republicans strike me as being the MORE Republican than the others - because despite the strong disregard, or even mild contempt most non-black Republicans have for the black community, black Republicans still believe Republican policies have something good to offer.

  • The message is clear. The leading Republicans care about black votes, not blacks in particular. It's the reality, of course, but a sad one. At least he is honest about it, and is not blaming it on supposed "scheduling conflicts."

  • good post. but I wouldn`t limit it to the leading Republicans. every politician tries to maximize his votes, its the vote that counts, not the person.

  • Sure, you're probably right about that, but that's the more cynical view of things, though. I just stick to what facts as they are now, which Pat described well. I want to keep some hope that int he future there'll be a candidate who'll be different. Yet you can't prove this today even with the non-leading Reps. since they do have a lot to gain from these relatively small demographics.

  • It's still a flawed strategy. Did anybody bother to calculate the risk of losing votes from the republican base for snubbing minorities is the first place? It's disingenuous. How can you be "the leader of the free world" by ignoring those to whom freedom is not taken for granted.

  • Pat reminds me of those dolls with the strings. They say and sound the same. How often do we pull the string??????

  • Ron Paul doesn't try to pander for race votes like everyone else he is going for AMERICAN votes he dont see color.

He attended that event with tavis smiley and asked why he showed up Ron Paul said because he was invited.

  • You beat me to it! I was going to say the same thing. Ron Paul is for Americans not black/white/chinese/italian/gay/christian/jewish/muslim/lesbian/hispanic/male/female/old/young-Americans

  • HAhhhh!! I caught it!!!

Absolutely Brilliant sleight of Mouth for Tavis Smiley...

What does he call Pat Buchanan?

    Patty!!! haha....

    As in Irish Negroe!!

    Simply Brilliant...

A slur against the testament of a sell out!! The legacy of Pat Buchanan is one of racism classism and division. He doesnt support the people, represented by all walks and colors of life.

  • close - Paddy, actually.

  • That is because most youth haven't experienced anything in life yet. They are still wet behind the ears and stupid. They think they know it all but don't know shit. In their old age most of them wise up and become Republicans when they discover the truth.

  • "That is because most youth haven't experienced anything in life yet. They are still wet behind the ears and stupid. They think they know it all but don't know shit. In their old age most of them wise up and become Republicans when they discover the truth."

What truth is that? Details, now. ;]

  • Republicans are a dying breed. Most youth are Democrats or independents.

  • no, not true. You probably don't live in the midwest.

  • No...he is not saying they are racist. He is saying they are intelligent. It is a waste of time. They are making a smart business decision. It has nothing to do with race.

  • Hey there rstovalljr! Don't forget about Senator Robert KKK Byrd. Democrat

  • i'm sorry. you are right! they both SUCK! libs and neo cons! but i'm not going to shoot myself because you say so!

  • bring home more dead americans soldiers in flag drap coffens!that will make bush's supporter proud of what NEO-CON have accumplish these last 7 years. ya and 70% of your fallow americans think so too!

  • i agree with ur comment, these libs all they do is bitch about nothing. so these guys arent hypocrytes. very good, makes me like them more. the demoncrats are all about hypocrisy and the lie. full of shit and losing elections to pander to the far left.

  • yer a fuckin moron.

your government of either party are the same fuckin problems.

    you are brainwashed.

    Just kill yourselves now.

  • "Hypocrisy," boy is that a joke! Republicans own that word and its meaning! Better check out the bathroom; you never know when one of them is playing footsies, or peaking in the next stall, all the while bashing gays! LOL

  • Im black and I may vote republican. Its not "period" issue. Congress has proven that democrats are no better than GOP. They are all playing us for votes. It's about picking the right person not the right party. As a whole the party's only objective is getting elected, not our benefit.

  • Don't think in terms of party. They are 2 sides of the same coin.

  • who care what neo-con thinks. its like maggots eating a dead meat. let them swim and rotten

    in their own world.

  • "there is a risk going to this gathering and there is very little reward"

So basically what Buchanan is saying is the Republican base is racist.

  • That's rich, considering the Democrats have a doddering Klansman in the Senate.

  • Buchanan is absolutely right. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Pat Buchanan is, at this moment, saying some of the smartest things of anyone who regularly appears on TV. Tavis-- black voters can watch the regular debates, can't they? He acts as if "regular" issues just don't appeal to black voters, and I disagree. Everyone cares about the war and taxes. That said, the missing people should have been there, but I was glad to hear one debate without their idiocy anyway.

  • totally agree, why would any conservative want to be hit with tough socio-economic questions. As someone who thinks free-enterprise is the most humanitarian system, its a difficult sell when progressives look to buy votes with other people's money.

  • pat must have stopped taking crazy pills. more and more is he coming off as at least reasonable, which, IMHO, was not the case 6+ years ago :)

  • Pat Buchanan endorsed Ron Paul

  • Pat Buchanan and Tim Russert all want be bright as Dick Cheney4.Yes they are on the right track but never pretend to be that bright. There is only a few people like that and they are not included.

  • Amadad Dialo??? - is he related to Amadu Dialo? laughable.

according the Buchannan, the cost of courting black votes outweighs the benefit.

    hilarious

  • same is true for counting black votes apparently.

  • At least he didn't try to feed a line of BS, but simply stated that this constituency is effectively worthless to his party's nomination. The GOP's ace in the hole is indignant white people who watch FOX NEWS, and believe that minorities are getting over on their tax dollars.

  • Ron Paul, the candidate for all americans!!!!

  • As long as those Americans are male! (smile) Ron Paul doesn't believe that females should have the same rights over their bodies as males do! This IS a fact for all Republicans!

  • As a female I think that's an incredibly silly statement.

  • politics is an ugly game. even though he's right, it just perpetuates that stigma that republican party has to the african and latino americans.

  • Not just african and latino americans; let us not forget the big male boot the Republicans keep on the neck of every woman here in America! Vote every last one of them out of a job! Would ya vote for the KKK? (smile)

  • senator robert KKK byrd democrat (smile)

  • pat can't even look at him while he talks. what a racist.

  • Whether you think he's a racist or not, he said nothing in these statements that was racist at all. I'm not too familiar with his full statements, but I think that that is uncalled for just from this video and completely unnecessary. I instead think it was racist of Smiley to insinuate that black voters can only be spoken to in a special debate geared for them, rather than watching any of the regular debates. It's patronizing.

  • pat buchanan is a fraud

  • im a fan of Pat on many issues but disagree with him on this one

  • Basically, Buchanan said "if you're not part of our base, then fuck you!"

And this is the reason why I get so pissed at Democrats who claim that we must reach across the table to the Republicans. Why should we?! For the entire 2000-2007, Republican did not reach across the table at all.

And this proves that Republicans have no interest in reaching towards us in the future.

  • That's not republicans, that's politics. Democrats are exactly the same.

  • Its just a tactical decision you see. Just like going to war in Iraq. The wealthy make a lot of money and they and their children don't have to fight and suffer. So tactically it just makes a lot of sense. Too them.

  • agitcam: Yep. That's about the size of it.

    Nice.

    What to do?

  • Kanye West was right, only he should have been broader in his analysis: "The Republican Party doesn't care about black people."

  • In case you didn't catch it, here is Buchanan's for snubbing the minority vote:

Catering to the African-American vote at this time could be damaging to the top tier candidates, since your African-American interest widely conflicts with your base.

Only visit with African-American after you wrapped up your Republican nomination because they aren't going to vote for you anyway.

  • Republicans don't give a damn about minorities; they always try to block them from voting. Also, they don't give a damn about the children of minorities, or middle class white children; these children are only fodder for THEIR WAR MACHINE! Register to vote, and vote every Republican OUT of a JOB! Show them WHO they were supposed to be working for! The Republican Party IS nothing more than the KKK without their sheets! (smile)Wake up Sheeple!
