What a wonderful testament to the pride and heritage of Blacks in Washington, DC. So many times we don't realize that we had businesses and were more than just people at the lowest rung of society. Scurlock did a wonderful job. Thank you Smithsonian for recognizing this part of African American culture in Washington.
