What's quite shocking , it's despite you are told all the time to take care about it , when the rocket comes out at firing , your sight is blurred by the jet , and you may loose the whole rocket for good ... (hmmm , don't tell anyone , but it happened to me the first time ...)
lol 'Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity' - Hey, war sucks, killing is monstrous, but that saying only works if both parties agree. Pray for peace, prepare for war, because a pacifist nation is just needs one tyrant to come and ass-rape them forever. The Iraqis can thank us for their freedom after a few generations pass. Too much horror from war there now. Thank you soldiers for the peace you give us, the citizens. I pray peace can be kept in Iraq after we leave.
@IraqiGirl707 You'll think hard about that when one of them mistakes you for a terriorist, and blows off one of your legs or arms with our "good weapons." We use them quite well, you'll find.
"How many kids were in that car?" Never forget these are not video games, they are for WAR, and the purpose of WAR is to MAKE LOTS OF PEOPLE DEAD. Pray our soldiers get called home SOON 'cause the OTHER GUYS have these toys TOO, as the thousands of coffins flown back to Dover since '02 have shown. God Bless every one of our VOLUNTEER CITIZEN-SOLDIERS, and BRING THEM HOME NOW!
God will never bless the murders...but i'm sure the devil will do it. The devil will bless all the fucking and murder USA.
All the people who enjoy this video are all mad and they are fascists...firing arms are funny sometimes, but it isn't so funny fire against people, and less civilians...geez
@songoku2300 - As stated previously, this was a closed range and no one was harmed in the making of this film. I would also like to note that a vast majority of the violence in both Iraq and Afghanistan arouse from sectarian violence that we had little to do with. Quite frankly you're a misguided idiot.
@MegaMecaSaru Yes, sectarian violence produced for US invation. Hahaha i'm sure that you are trying to search Obama's cave hahahaha, spending billions of dollars in a search with no scence and not spending the money for education or health (my english is bad, sorry)
@songoku2300 - The sectarian violence has been there for thousands of years. The only thing that has caused it to spike during our occupation was that we took out the tyrannical dictatorship that was holding it back in the case of Iraq and the Taliban that kept it in check in Afghanistan. Granted we didn't take into account what we were getting into and we didn't always make good choices, but it is foolish to make such general and ridiculous accusations.
@MegaMecaSaru and who caused this sectarian violence??? it is old policy "Divide in order to conquer" divide into sunnis vs shiites, arabs vs kurds, iraqis and other arabs...etc etc
I think the important thing which americans like in these wars is that they always have great justification for their crimes....prepare you excuses and justifications just like you prepare your guns..
I assume you are talking about the thing they fired at? It was probably a training excercise seeing as they were just standing in the open with a tow missle on a tripod and the guy casually filming the event with a camcorder. Which means the thing they fired at was probably empty.
@4freespeech do you only care about the two thousand American soldiers who died? How about the 200,000 civilians killed by your troops? When did they sign up?
@yomama629 they signed up when they decided to stay after leaflets had been dropped in the city telling them to get out or we could not guarantee them their lives.
@yomama629 They did drop leaflets into the cities of Iraq. The civilians deserve to die when they are collaborating and hiding the insirgents. Do you even know what happened in Iraq? How Saddams army was toppled, then a holy jihad spread? And everyone was helping the terrorists on false beleifs. So I have no remorse for them.
@cjleger337 Hahahaha poor republican retarded you are...you always think the people from Middle East are terrorist or "the bad guys" and the US army are "the good guys". Poor stupid asshole, the only war that te US army were the good guys was the World War 2 idiot. I'm sure you think that fighting for the US interest are fighting for "the liberty" and "the honor"...geez...i'm from Argentina and i see more the reality than you (my english is awful, i know)
@songoku2300 - I disagree. The troops over there aren't the bad guys. They're trying to get home to their families and go out of their way to avoid collateral damage and unnecessary casualties which is far more than I can say for the insurgents. At the same time I agree with you that not everyone from that region is a terrorist which is a common misconception in American and leads to quite a bit of unfounded bias towards them.
@yomama629 - It is the responsibility of both sides to minimize civilian casualties. At the same time, when we would move into a town usually the civilians would move out into the mountains so the civilian death toll was rather low all things considered and often times came from poorly executed IED attacks.
@4freespeech Hahaha is unbeliveable, you say "never forget these are not videogames" but you say later "the other guys have these TOYS", oh man you have to see a doctor if you call toy a gun, seriously...
@cashbradley - Although in some regards I would rather take on a TOW missile than an IED. At least you can see a TOW missile launcher and take the guy out before he can take you out in some instances.
I fired two live rounds back in 1984 and 1985. This weapon was very effective when hitting the assigned target. It was something that I would never forget. I fired those rounds at the Yakima desert training facility in Washington state.
@wmfnly63 Shit dude thats like right next to me and i pass by that base all the time i just didn't know they did that cool of shit. Do you live in Washington?
There aren't really that many different varients of the tow but some can be mounted differently. This one here is the ground mount. There are different types of missles for different uses. If you google "types of T.O.W. missles" you should find a list of the different kinds.
@captaindouchemonkey - I'm not entirely sure. I went to a school for it but as with everything in the army they made the name far more complicated than it had to be. I know it was the newest variation and all the older versions from the 80's have been phased out.
Huh...I always had this idea that the TOW was bigger than that.

It could be fired from a tripod, an armored personal carrier, the jeep or hummer, from a tank or helocopter.
