  • Competing with German V12's, but its running 0-60 in 6 seconds? Maybe German V8's, but most definitely NOT V12's.

  • If God became a vehicle, this would be the one. And Jesus would drive it.

  • @jakemiller5000 Why the anger? Were you raped by a Lexus or something?

  • Yeah, Lexus is reliable, especially after the incident with the faulty brakes and all those deaths caused by those bad brakes. After all, Toyota is Lexus. So I think I'll just stick with BMW or Mercedes.

  • @Corvette90100 audi had the same problem late 80 early 90,so were is the problem

  • Don't get me wrong I like the LS, but why the hell would you spend an extra $30,000 on a 600 when it performs the same as a 460 and actually does not consume less fuel? Doesn't make sense to me.

  • @JaSt321

Anyone paying so much money for a Lexus, a car that is essentially a gussied up TOYOTA, is a fool. Plain and simple.

  • @jakemiller5000

The LS is the only Lexus I'd ever even consider getting if I had that much money, but I'd still take an S-class over it. It actually isn't a blinged up Toyota.

  • @JaSt321

The LS is the only overpriced Toyota (Lexus) worth getting. The rest? Awful cars. I don't care if they're fast from 0-60 because they handle like crap, are cramped as shit and are not even that comfortable. Lexus is such an overrated brand. You've noticed that only morons like RAJSTA81 or JaguarLexusCentral fall for this JapCrap. I'd rather drive a 1979 Plymouth Volare, 1977 AMC Pacer or an '85 Cadillac DeVille than any 2010 Lexus.

  • @jakemiller5000

You cant afford even the AMC..Your a dreamer Jake.....When you get the chance to test one of the cars that you talk shit about, then we will respect your comments!!!

    You just talk shit Jake,

You truly done know what your on about...Maybe to much crack and Amy whinehouse going through yoiur mind

  • @RAJSTA81

I can afford an AMC. In fact I want an AMC Eagle. These cars are halfway desirable - unlike your POS Lexus bullshit. Gussied up Toyotas sold to gullible morons like you.

  • @jakemiller5000

    hahahhahahah

    Desirable?????

    Oh thats so funny!!!

Well if you keep saving your welfare check's, yoiu should be able to get that 1000 dollars for your dream car.. Since that is your MAXIMUM budget, You should stop dreaming about owning a Lexus!!!

You couldn't even afford the spare wheel from a Lexus, ya NOB!!

You couldn't even get something for that Pontiac that you own in the cash for clunkers scheme....Face it Jake, your a dreamer and a moron!!

You look 40 but act as if ur 12

  • @jakemiller5000

The only Lexus that is actually a blinged-up Toyota is the ES, which is pretty much a Camry. The rest have their own rear-drive platforms, unlike Toyotas which have front-drive platforms. I'm not saying Lexus is no-good, they make pretty good reliable cars, but they just don't feel as special to be in as a Mercedes. You can't really compare BMW and Audi because those are more performance oriented.

  • @JaSt321

To me Lexus isn't a luxury brand. It's a poseur brand. Real luxury is also about the badge. The badge has to feel special or mean something. Look at the history of Mercedes, Bentley, Jaguar or Lancia for example. There is passion, innovation, motorsport etc. in there - things that the Lexus brand lacks. Lexus fanboys always tell me that "Lexus has racing heritage because of the Rolex Series" <-- LMAO!!! I hope you understand what I mean. The Lexus badge is bland, boring and soulless.

  • Comment removed

  • @jakemiller5000

Haha I don't watch racing much so I don't know what the Rolex series is, but believe me I know exactly what you mean. Mercedes and Jaguar have long histories behind their names, think E-type and 300SL, while Lexus was introduced 20-something years ago by Toyota to make money off the American luxury car market. I'm not a badge snob, I'd take an LS over a W220 any day if I had that choice, but brand history and sentimentality are quite important to me.

  • @JaSt321

It's good that you know where I am coming from and what I mean. Lexus is what it is: a poseur brand for people who want the features but not the experience. Lexus doesn't offer an experience because the brand itself is so empty, bland, pretentious, boring, boring, boring, more blandness, crap, shit, monkey piss and more pretentious crap. That's what Lexus is. Good value for money, fairly reliable but nothing else. And that suped up MR-2 called the LF-A looks like a ricer's dream car!

  • @jakemiller5000

I am a bit on the fence about whether the LFA looks ricey on the outside but I don't think of it as a super ricer. This is the first car Lexus has ever made that's not intended to sell in big numbers and make loads and loads of money for Toyota (but $375,000, maybe the second thing is true). Anyways, time will tell whether it improves Lexus' charisma or not.

  • @JaSt321

Lexus doesn't make money on the LF-A given its past enormous development costs. They made this car to obtain credibility - but they won't get it from me. Deep down inside Lexus will always be a boring overpriced Toyota that was created for the gullible US market in order to make money. Lexus is a colossal failure in Europe and Asia. This poseur brand isn't even sold in South America or Africa (except South Africa). A true luxury brand is a GLOBAL PLAYER. Lexus isn't.

  • @jakemiller5000 shut ur mouth and stop spreading rumor, why do u waste ur and our time just to inform everybody that u dont like lexus, who gives a shit?

  • @eleonik76

Diesel engines are "tractor engines"? You are a clear example of the typical Lexus: UNINFORMED ASSHOLES. Anyone who knows anything about cars will know that Lexus are overpriced Toyotas with boring design and a lot of marketing hype thrown along behind them. I have friends who were dumb enough to buy an expensive Toyota and these cars are not all what they're made out to be. Interior rattles, shitty quality and design, awful handling and overrated comfort. That's Lexus for you.

  • @eleonik76

You're a fucking idiot. You want to talk about refinement? What the fuck is so special about Lexus refinement when they offer a POS HS250h and CT200h with crappy Toyota 4-cylinders? Cut the fucking bullshit you cocksucking Toyota bitch. AFAIK the diesel S classes and A8 cars are very refined and smooth. I wouldn't know since I live in the US. Lexus is an overrated piece of shit brand. Their refinement is nothing special and it's all marketing hype. Lexus = bullshitters.

  • @jakemiller5000 Lexus is the most beautiful Luxury car making i've seen. They are well rounded, have simple controls, and have sleek styling. I like the IS250C a lot. It's a luxury convertible. Just because you hate Toyota, That doesn't mean you should announce to everyone that if you like Toyota (Lexus in this case) that they are............... whatever stupid, dumb, and idiot. You just don't do it

  • @eleonik76

Hey dumbass, even if I had all the money in the world I'd never waste it on a piece of shit like a Lexus. Lexus and Toyota are the most overrated brands out there at the moment. And the fact that Lexus lacks diesels is one reason why their sales are pathetic in Europe. And do some research, moron. Lexus has a ton of FWD car like the Lexus Avensis, whoops, HS250h, the Lexus Matrix...shit, I mean Lexus CT200h and that glorified Toyota Camry called the 'Lexus ES". What a piece of shit.

  • @eleonik76

Wait a second...you're comparing the original LS400 to its original competition? LMAO!!! The original LS400 is the most overrated of all Lexus. It arrived in 1989 and competed against the Mercedes S class that was engineered in 1972-1979 and released on the market in late 1979. Facelift for that car was in 1985. So, the LS400 competed with a car designed in the 1970s. No fucking shit the LS400 would be more advanced. The W126 S class was at the end of its product life cycle in 1989!

  • @eleonik76

Damn, you're seriously retarded. Which explains why you lust after some POS overpriced Toyota called "Lexus". Lexus is so gay. Seriously. What a POSEUR brand. When some asshole pulls up at a fancy hotel in a Lexus I have to make an effort not to laugh at his sorry retarded ass. Dumbass thinks he's driving something special when he's just in a glorified Camry with leather. Pathetic. And I don't give a shit about your Bulgarian mafia brother. How many girls has he raped? Fucker.

  • @jakemiller5000 you are a fucktard, you're a fanboy in the automobile world which is so dumb and retarded. I don't care whoever made the car, if the car is beautifully made than I will love and want it. I'm not a brand loyal monkey who find everything about his/her beloved brand superior.

  • @jakemiller5000

    Hey CrackHead5000, what going on???

How is your "Ancient" Pontiac 6000 going??

I just dont understand that a girl like you, has the nerve to go saying DUMB shit about a car that you TRULY couldn't to even afford let alone test drive it ,but on the other hand, you claim that your ANCIENT Pontiac 6000 is far more Superior than a current Lexus!!!

You need to get out of your mums basement!!

  • folks, please, don't argue in such rough manner about car makers. The car you buy is not a subject to be proud of that and fight with anyone near you (or very far :) ). It would be not a secret to know that different "braands" can be owned by same people.

  • JAKEMILLER5000

IS A BULLSHIT TALKING TROLL THAT KNOWS FUCK ALL!!

  • the back looks too much like a camry

  • Not worth the extra cost over the LS460

  • i saw this vid where they were interviewing a rich Russian babe and the mercedes s-class broke down in the middle filming.

she then says that it happens all the time and yelled something to her chauffer. lol. this would never happen in a Lexus.

  • everyone knows MB had great reliability up until the early 90's when they decided that their cars was over engineer. so they cut cost to make more money and the reliability of the brand suffered... just two years ago they claimed to return to the reliability they had through the 80's and beyond.

all of this is a fact.

  • all LS lowest grip

  • bmw 7 series eats that boring lexus

  • They should drop this and the LS460 and put the IS-F 5.0L engine in the LS and make that the stand alone model. The LS600h is SLOWER than the LS460, costs $35k more, and despite being a hybrid gets worse HWY MPG. I don't get it!

  • @DJFG85 and also....consider this....you will actually probably save more than $35K in gasolin cost...in the ls460....if you consider the life span of the vehicle...so it does not make much sense to own the hybrid for now....

  • @DJFG85 that might be the next model........THE Ls 500 sounds very nice and has a ring too it ;]....ihope its 400+ hp and 400+ ibs ft of torque at least by 10 from the HP and is rated at 22 30 mpg i really really hope but i guess im asking to much

  • the design is easy

Toyota made it easy for itself , and hasn't thought about future design development

    hehhe, we'll see ;P

  • :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jeeeesuuuus expensive but lvoley <3 i want, i have a es 350, as stated in my user name... i wanted the ls but i can't afford one. anyways im happy with my es anyways =D

  • skyfaze: Of course, your automotive intellect far surpasses mine. Your intelligent application of "bitch ass nigguh," is a case in point. Go ahead and rate my comments down because all the yuppies get their feewings hurt when their overrated Toyota isn't admired by all the ditto heads that pray to Consumer Reports.

  • Bree van De kamp ' S !

  • your hilarious and clearly possess no knowledge of cars. This car does not compare wiht the CTS-V or XF-R its in the market for the 7 seris and S class or XJR . haha ps ur a fuckign faggot ass bitch ass nigguh

  • best car on the fucking planet!!!

  • older ls looks beter:)

  • Toyota is getting back on track! And Lexus will never loose the reliability crown again!

  • they have ALWAYS been on track.

  • True... Can't argue with that one lol.

  • my dreams car

  • Ive had a bunch of Toyota's myself and they have had a lot of problems. Engine Sludge on my Highlander cost me $8,000 to fix.

  • thats because you use cheap gas, and cheap non synthetic oil...idiot, and every so often add octane booster and a fuel traetment to your tank...and dont leave the car idling, its bad the environment and it allows alot of carbon build up (sludge) with-in the engine because its no being exahsted out.... happy driving

  • That's what i was thinking, non-detergent gas, and improper (or infrequent) oil changes probably caused your engine sludge. There hasn't been a sludge problem in engines (with recommended service) from any manufacturer for at least 15-20 years now

  • So true. Toyota has been cutting a lot. The newer Toyota Camry 3.5L V6 Engine was rated below average in reliablity.

  • Toyota has denied the sludge problems in their transmissions or the rusting of their Tacoma / Tundra pickups. Eventually it got so bad that Toyota admitted these problems - and yet you have so many morons here babbling on about how reliable Toyota is and how everything else sucks. I have a Camry and Neon and the my Neon ownership has been more than satisfactory. Can't say the same for the "reliable" Camry, which by the way is so boring. If I was 90 years old maybe this car would be fun...

  • @CauseWereAsian I like Toyota... but the Camry is just pointless.

  • @demonicreborn you mean boring....

  • @joe700700 Yeah I suppose. By pointless, I mean that it's so boring that there's no reason really to buy it over an accord.

  • True that, Toytota's reliability is only at the most a few percentage points above that of their competitors, but even one percentage point for a company that sells even a million vehicles (and toyota sells a lot more) is 10,000 cars.

  • fuel economy has alot to do with quality!...if an engine is consuming fuel like crazy then it isn't very efficient....and if and engine isn't very efficient then it's an engine that doesn't have much engineering in it..it is a primitive cheap engine that just wastes limited resources.

  • Real? in December 2002, Benz S-class recalled 65000 defective vehicles that could also lead to fires while in 2006 (2/2/06), 36911 Benz CL class were recalled due to electrical wiring malfunctions and faulty trunk lid springs. The lexus GS recall was about 34000 (not 125000). I cant recall lexus recalling 30000 LS models. So benz vehicles aint that much reliable and a significant rip off.

  • Well it's said that a 5 year old LS 430 is like someone buying a 2009 BMW or MB off the lot "new" in terms of reliability! That says a lot! That means Lexus' don't have PROBLEMS! Damn the nonsense, I'd rather have a trouble free Lexus than the German brands ANY DAY! Plus I'm getting a LS 460 later this year myself! Yeah it's a Toyota underneath, so fu*kin' what?! IT WON'T BRAKE DOWN YOUR AZZ!

  • Funny thing is when MotorTrend tested the LS600h vs the S550 the Hybrid system in the Lexus over-heated and added 900lbs to the car. Good thing that the LS600h got 2mpg better than the S550. Mercedes and BMW are going to use a Lithium battery that has the same power and life as the 8 batteries that take up almost all the space in the truck of the LS600h. Good job I guess.

  • Ya. I "telling you" learn some english first. S550 is out of your reach as well as the LS600h.

  • Plus, its truck is filled with batteries.. What a shit hybrid. Good thing that BMW and Mercedes is making their models with lithium batteries. I can't remember if it was 1-3 batteries vs the tons of replacable batteries in the Lexus.

  • i'd take this car before the 745 and the s550..... we all know lexus is ten times more reliable the all the others...

  • Yaa.. but lets look at how many generations Lexus has been copying the S550.. Its designs, technology, and interior styling. This tells you its copying from the best. You can try as hard as you can to talk shit about a S550 but its still out-sells, more technology, high quality and luxury, safer, faster, and handles better. You can say what you want about reliablility about the 750 but no complaints on the S550. People still GLADLY buy the S550 over the LS. Thats the sad part. LS is shit.

  • u could never compare a merc to lexus when it comes to reliability... never... i bet a camry and accords have far less trips to dealer than a s550.... if mercs have far better quality, why they dont have a better reliability than lexus... smh

  • Well of course.. a Camry/Accord doesn't have 1% of the technology of a S550. Dont think Lexus is the best cause just recently they recalled over 500,000 GS models.

  • .ok so u telling me that the s550 is less reliable than an accord/camry b/c they dont have 1% of the technology lol...... really?

  • The S550 also won green car of the year from the German TUV, due to it's small environmental impact, great emissions for it's class, use of green materials, and great mileage for it's class.

The LS600h has all the hype of being a hybrid, but none real life credibility. Toyota is known for peddling a "green" image with hybrids while making their real money on trucks and SUV's (Tundra, LX570). Why is Toyota doing so badly today? Truck sales are down.

The real 'green' cars are German.

  • @fmilluminatus there not so much Tundra, LX570 in germany compared to usa :)

  • A $104,000 Camry that babies old people too incompetent to park themselves and too stupid to know a steering or suspension from an earthquake during bingo night.

  • @bkvintagecorp Dunno where u get that from. Have had a S600 from 1992 since new and absolutly no major problems at all. There is no S550 btw. They are two of the most reliable cars ever. The lexus hasnt even been around that long to have it put to the test yet.

  • @bkvintagecorp They alsoo put more tech into the Lexus the BMW of MB

  • @bkvintagecorp thats like saying I like my girlfriend because shes punctual

  • Lol.. That's not nice! Evendoe..., I wouldn't mind driving the new Borego or, Amanti..., if you would've said Ford, Chevy or, Dodge..., I would've been alright with that! ;-)

  • Toyotas hybrid drive is too heavy and complicated with large multiple motor generaters etc. Merc has followed the Honda version and uses a small electric motor within the S class gearbox housing, and a li-ion battery small enough to replace the lead acid under the hood, using an inverter to supply 12v to the cars legacy systems. Has start/stop, regenerative braking etc and adds little extra weight and takes up no extra space while supplying an extra 20Kw and a mountain of torque when needed.

  • Those who said the "attention to detail inside is amazing" must be on crack. The Lexus LS has easily one of the cheapest interiors in its class. A lot of British, French and yes, even American reviews have stated this. Shiny silver plastic all over, uninspired door handle designs is called "amazing attention to detail" here? Huh? Look inside an Audi A8, Benz S class or the new BMW 7 series. Now that's attention to detail. The LS is a cheap imitation that is just plain overrated.

  • I couldn't agree more. I just can't stand people who get wet when they see a Lexus.

  • @jakemiller5000 if yoou are president or banker you could afford any detail (handmade bentley or even more) but if you choose car looking on your salary, you would choose one with loser price

japan cars made with robots - european need workers

(every lowest level japan car has an A/C but european is craap if cheap)

reviewer are calling them as a shit because west having a big impact from asian small people industry , now it started even in segment of luxury

  • @seindich

What the fuck are you trying to say? Learn to communicate in PROPER ENGLISH. I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Oh, and the European car industry uses advanced robots in their production facilities at well. Where the fuck have you been for the last, oh, 40 years? Hell, even in the late 1960s the European car industry was depending more and more on robotics to help them produce cars. Cut the bullshit. Many Japanese cars in Japan don't have A/Cs. Big fucking deal.

  • @jakemiller5000 if i would talk in mother language, you have no chance to communicate (zB 5 falls more than in english) i think this way is better (i don't use rotten words)

in europe robots are used too ()

compare it to more crappy kia

    youtube.com/watch?v=J6FnirdNbic&feature=related

    youtube.com/watch?v=bU4PYiBnRyQ&feature=related

renault(clio) is a crap compared to nissan(ad) (jap. cars without a/c are very old or rear)

  • @seindich

Renault is crap? It's funny watching you Infiniti fanboys slam Renault while praising Nissan/Infiniti models with RENAULT ENGINES. That's right. Those new Infiniti diesels in Europe for example have "crappy" Renault diesel engines - which according to recent tests are EXCELLENT. Gosh, you remind me of that moron called RAJSTA81 who fucks his own brother in the back of his overpriced Toyota Camry (Lexus ES).

  • @jakemiller5000 i don't think the renault is something noticable, because have no possibility to see a lot of them on streets of europe russia or asia (i have not seen them in some way to remember that). may be they have some industrial success (and i can't know about that) but their cars are not the best. Yes, now toyota has become overpriced as any good car, that can make a concurrency. (Who would pay more for UNCOOL(far not MB) car if it bad)

  • @seindich

Renaults are sold in Asia, Africa the Middle East and South America. They're great cars. If you take a trip to North Africa for instance you will see a lot of older Renaults, Peugeots and Citroens (or Talbots, Simcas etc.) still running and soldiering on. The people who say French cars suck (morons like RAJSTA81 for example) are clearly clueless or listen to some bullshit biased publication like Toyota Reports (also known as Consumer Reports)

  • @jakemiller5000 Buddy why are you talking about Africa & the Middle East? You know you've never been outside of the trailer park you're from.

  • @JaguarLexusCentral

Yawn. I've been around the world and seen places you can only dream about.

  • @jakemiller5000 I doubt that seeing that I have been all over the world in my over 15 years experience in the military fighting for 3 different countries. & it's like I told you before, a Toyota is better than Cadillac, so a car being a dolled-up toyota is a great thing!! You are not insulting anyone by stating that remark.

  • Sinceramente este es un carro muy guapo fui a nicaragua y es lindo andar en un auto como este es bello. les saludo desde El pais de la aterna Primavera.. Guatemala,.,,,..

  • I believe this Lexus is the first luxury hybrid ever made. Hybrids should be for the environment, not for your pockets. If people want a fuel efficient luxury car they can go LS460. The LS600HL may not save you much gas money, but it is better for the environment. Give Toyota credit, they built a very fine luxury hybrid.

  • further proof that hybrid technology is nothing more than a gimmick at the moment. Gimme an s65 please.

  • The LS600 is in a class alone.

    Lexus

  • yeah and that is the reason that whole GMC is on the edge beacouse of this economical crisis, and toyota is working full time...get a grip man...with all do respect for american brands you still have to admire these japs...and don't insult me...we're civilized grown ups here you know...you don't even know me

  • nice car

  • i am gona buy one of these

  • Idioit lol.

  • Lexus has NOTHING on Cadillac&Lincoln!

  • right

    you keep thinking that....

  • I will. If you think Lexus is better..., you must believe in the Tooth Fairy, also, huh? ;-)

  • Jesus Christ you sound like all the other arrogant promoters of Japcrap I've spoken to. Overpriced Camry's having nothing on American cars.

  • "Over prcied camry has nothing on American cars"

Did you know that the Camry is the # 1 selling car in America ? HAHA

    Ignorance is Bliss.

  • the camry is overpriced? haha, yeah exactly the reason why its the best selling car for well over a decade....because most americans love overpriced vehicles, right??

  • 2008 cts shits on fucking camry.

    lick my scrotum

  • yeah, im sure it does. i mean the camry isnt a luxury vehicle and the cts is the best thing gm can come up with. and lick your scrotum? come talk to me when you buy one dumbass

  • k i'm talking to you.

  • I'd rather drive a Kia than, a Toyota! ;-)

  • obviously because you can't afford a toyota, let alone a lexus. dream on

  • That's because, Toyota/Lexus is waaay over priced for the low features they give you, in a car!

  • buahahaha yea right and you're what? 12 years old and your daddy told you so...c'mon man everybody knows that the only two cars that you can compare to lexus are bmw and mercedes

  • Yeah, you're right? The three auto brands that, have the MOST technology gliches, ever!

  • You're an idiot to buy a Lexus! They have TOO MANY technical problems(like German cars). American luxury is the way to go! ;-)

  • omg...you should see a doctor. Cause i think there is something seriosly WRONG with your brain by that comment you just made

  • I already saw the doctor and, he told me the samething! ;-)

  • Just look at "Consumer Reports" you will find your answer there.

Lexus ever since its start has had the least problems reported than ANY other luxury manufacture.

Lexus has always been rated the highest in reliability and build quality.

I own a 98 Lexus Ls400 that has 137,000 miles as of today and not ONE thing has gone wrong or broke, NOT ONCE!!

So u can say what you want but the FACTS still speak for themselves.

P.S. Do your research before posting such ridiculous comments!

  • Lexus JUST started making their vehicles with better quality ONLY a decade ago! Lexus was Notorious for transmission and, electric problems during the 90's! My girlfriend cousin's boyfriend just got rid of his 1995 Lexus LS400 because of, transmission problems and, he hid only near 130k., also. After the yr. 2000..., Lexus quality started getting much better...but, it's definitely, not the highest in quality. Even the Hyundai Genesis can compete with the LexusGS in quality and, powertrain!

  • You can continue to say what you want! But you NEED to do some research look at "Consumer reports" magazine, how I'm i to believe you have a valid opinion when you say Hyundai has the same quality as Lexus.

As for your girlfriend's cousins boyfriend's uncle's nephew's Lexus your just making it up for the sake of this discussion. The first gen Ls400 ARE and HAVE been one of the top 10 most reliable cars EVER made, both tranny and engine are bulletprooof so I Dont believe you 1 second

  • LMAO@"girlfriend's cousins boyfriends uncle's nephews"! I didn't say it like that! Anyways..., as far as, the Lexus LS400 being in the top10 cars ever made, out of ALL cars in the world? It must of definitely been #10(if ever on that list)out of that rating because, I don't believe that! Now...maybe, it was in the top10 relaible LUXURY vehicles but, we all know, the InfinityQ45 was better than, the Lex. LS400. ;-)

  • the hyundai genesis can compete with the lexusgs??? since when did a car that starts at 27000 bucks compete with a car that starts around 40,000? never. that genesis is a very nice car, but its only been out for a year, while the gs has been made for about a decade...so good job comparing the two.

  • everybody knows american cars are unreliable, cheap, and have the most technical problems of all car makes....

and i hope you know that toyota makes lexus (toyota has the highest reliability ratings of all cars)....your belief that lexus has too many technical problems comes from where? your nationalist pride?

  • Lol.. Nationalist pride? That was hilarious!!! You can look on old articles in the Consumer Reports magazine, on the internet and, you'll see, most people complained about technical problems in Lexus vehicles. It ain't nothing cheap about American luxury cars but, the price because, it's domestic! Technical problems, NONE! Only in foreign cars(Lexus, Merc-Benz and, BMW) Audi and, Infinity is ok! Everybody knows, Americans make the MOST reliable cars from half-tons to Vans to small cars!

  • I heard that the 0-60 was 5.5

  • They are talking down on the car

when really this car is in a class by itself!!!

Best Luxury Cr On The Road.

they did not even talk about its luxury or anything..

    bullshit review

  • This is bullshit review. Its from Edmunds. Edmunds hate Japanese Automakers. I really hate edmunds. They only makes stupid reviews.

Dont ever watch this bullshit video. Guys, watch it other than (Edmunds' Inside the Line) because the real facts is that Lexus ls600h have gain the title for being the most Luxury and the most hightech Car in the world.

Again, this video is a BULLSHIT.

  • I agree. I notice this in many Japanese reviews they do seems like all they can talk about is the neagtives of them. U can tell how bias they are, there are videos saying how good the car is...then you have this video that make the car seem like its not good. When some people would kill to own a car like this.

This would be my Luxury car no matter how bad they try to make it look.

The LS600 is in a class alone.

    Lexus

  • Hell yeah man! I would kill somebody to get this car! Edmunds only making a bullshit about Japanese cars.

Because theyre jelous, thats why theyre making a stupid comments about it. What a Germans have? nothing! thats right nothing.

All germans do is copying Japan's technology and call it their own FUCKING DESIGNS!

Even on the car magazines They say that Lexus is the most reliable company that people can trust, not only they gives us a great service, but also a great value of The True Luxury.

  • Its so hard thats what she said and annoying to convert 07 MPG to 08.

  • LS600hybrid isn't trying to achieve a stunning MPG here.

    It's a V8 engine that makes V12 power from a V6 MPG(fuel consumption)

  • cirenow:

    > LS600hybrid isn't trying to achieve a stunning MPG here.

    It's a V8 engine that makes V12 power from a V6 MPG(fuel consumption)

    --

That's exactly the point of this car.

  • Your correct

Inside Line has ot all wrong

  • agree

  • People, The lexus hybrid features a great range of other features such as collision avoidance, parking system n so on.

dont look at this biased report focussing on only mileage and speed. If thats what you want just go buy a toyota prius which comes at 21000 USD.

I dont like the styling of lexus, mercedes c class is way better in looks, but feature wise, lexus is the best value

  • This Lexus is the best luxury car in its class bar none. I will have no problem showing this car off and comparing it in person to the S class and 7 series. Dont listen to the bias reviews. This car parks itself, and practiccaly drives itself. The technology and luxury is amazing. Attention to detail and quality is true luxury, not price.

  • خلفهم 460

صراحه سياره تستاهل بس لو سعرها مناسب كان مضبوط

  • This is America, English please.

  • Edmunds missed the entire point of this car. It's for wealthy and discerning drivers who commute from big cities that have HOV lanes that allow hybrid registered vehicles to use quicker HOV lanes so that they can get home faster to their families. That it goes slightly slower and/or faster in measured tests or gets slightly better or worse mpg matters little. If you spend an hour extra per day with the kids, it's worth every penny extra the car costs.

  • Let me get this straight... it's for 'decerning' drivers who are stupid enough to pay $25,000 more for a car that does less, and arrogant enough to think they should be allowed to use the carpool lane because they have a "hybrid" which pollutes more than the Mercedes S550? Yea, real 'dicerning'.

Where do you Lexus people come up with this nonsense? There is nothing to 'dicern' about Lexus but green hype, feature bloat, and self-parking for people too pathetic to drive on their own.

  • Its technology man.

  • So what's the point of it ? It's not faster than the LS460 and not very fuel efficient yet costs 40% more than the LS460 ... Let's what Audi will do when they put their V12-TDI in the next gen A8 :)

  • obviously, 600l is a limo version. So without the hybrid the mpg would've been worse. It costs more because it is stretched version, adds hybrid for more torque and few other extras.

  • It IS faster than an LS460l. Also, it introduces more technological features. And you should compare it to the price of an LS460l.

  • great car

  • The toyota Sold from the U.S is 76% of the parts which enter into "Made in China"

But the toyota CAR which is sold from japan uses the japanese parts.

An American and japanese it discriminates by the same toyota car.

  • the reviewer ends the review with a stupid comment. If I were in charge at Lexus I'd make sure that his company doesn't review any of our vehicles from here on out.

  • Good point, if people are honest about the overpriced crap that Lexus makes, Lexus should just not let them talk about it anymore. As much as I would love to have no one review Lexus anymore (after all, only idiots like you drive Lexus's, and idiot's don't care about reviews when they can just ape everything Lexus marketing says), it's not up to Lexus who reviews their cars. Edmunds can just buy one and review it, Lexus has no legal authority to stop them.

  • This is a very bias video review.

  • This car has been out a few months now. I still don't think people are getting the point behind this car. This car was aimed at a demographic of buyers who couldn't care any less about its price being "justified" or not. People with enough money to even consider this $100K machine don't care that it's no faster than a regular LS, they're paying for the higher status of the "600" badge, the same way S600 buyers have for years over the "500" and "550."

  • I still think the price tag is too high, but the video seems to be discounting the car's AWD. Around where I live, AWD would be a huge advantage.

  • if this car was priced significantly lower than an S Class, i'd understand. why own this, when you could pay a bit more for an S class...the car that pioneers almost every feature you'll find in cars 10 years down the road. truth is, you're buying a toyota in a tux. great reliability, but when you step inside, or even glance from the outside, every component screams toyota. but to each his own.

  • Edmunds made an error in their review, however, comparing 2007 vs. 2008 EPA ratings. On average, the LS 600h L does get better fuel economy than the LS 460 L.

  • Uh... I'd rather save 30K and get the LS460L. Its priced lower and gets better fuel economy. Mercedes S class V12 and Lexus LS600 don't need to exist in the 1st place. They think people will waste money on V10 and V12?

  • the LS600 is waste of money because the lexus LS460 is enough...

  • Are you a Merc owner, I've owned them and the S-Classes are a waste of $80K-$130K, what a piece of crap. Visited the shop too many times, almost sued them twice! I own a 2003 Lexus LS430, almost 5 years now since new, and I had nothing, I mean nothing wrong with this car, besides oil changes and regular maint. Lexus's are way better than your over priced
