  • If the Washer Dryer hookup at Patriots Landing Gas or electric? In the Old or new models too?

  • That brought back many memories. I lived there from 99 to 03.

  • Thank you so much!! I appreciate this video being posted. We are PCSing there in Feb, so it is awesome to see what we are moving into :)

  • my father was stationed here back in 82. Now that im Army , i cant complain cus we do have new housing but what do you expect, your going to get scuffs and damages.Military doesnt use the best quality for housing.Ive been around military all my life, you should appreciate that you have a nice house.I live in Hawaii and of course i have issues to, but i dont complain. Be grateful that you have new housing some military folks dont have it!!

  • Thank you SO much for posting this video! We will be moving to Scott late summer and were trying to decide on base or off base...you were a big help! Thank you opening your home!

  • Thank you for posting this! I have been trying to find better pictures of base housing before we transfer there this summer! This was very helpful!

  • Hey! I'm also an Air Force wife, we are currently stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. This is our first base and we've been here almost two years. Our baseboards are also very cheap, along with the carpets. We also have bug problems... I've never had problems like this in any homes I lived in growing up; ie-not base housing! I wonder why it is so much worse on bases? We have problems with spiders and crickets. Gross. I also agree, we need more storage!!! Haha :) Thanks for the tour!!!

  • Makes me homesick. Scott was our first base and is very close to where my husband and I are from originally. : (

  • You complain too much, you have a beautiful house there why are you letting petty stuff bother you, you sound spoiled, if you dont like the house or the base then go out and move to get something more to your liking no one is holding a gun to your head, your house is beautiful so is everyroom, alot of people would kill to have a decent roof under their head, stop being ungrateful

  • It's not that I am complaining but rather informing people of the living situation here on base. May God bless those who do not have and grant them what they need. I am not spoiled and take into account that you do not know my living situation to judge me on why I don't leave. These are merely my opinions and I give people enough info to allow them to make the best decision. Have a blessed day.

  • no problem military wife, do u have aim cause there is alot of questions i want to ask you about the base where your living at, me and my fiancee are planning on moving down there

  • I can side w/ you on this one, jinx. I live in Patriot's Landing and have the 3-bed also. Personally, I am very happy w/ what we have overall. Could there be some bugs worked out? Yes. Have my wife and I fixed it? Yes. Just my two cents...this base's housing is pretty damn nice compared to what I have seen in this area (and my previous bases) plus w/ the economy the way it is, be fortunate to have the home you do. The superficial problems can be fixed....that's all I have to say.

  • Very good video! You are not alone! I'm in Shiloh East over by Burger King and we have a LOT of bugs too. :( A lot of giant spiders and we had a really bad cricket problem until I sealed our back door. We were getting at least 4 or 5 crickets in our living room a night.

Our closets are horrible here, though. Our other 2 bedrooms have the same closets as your sons' but our master bedroom closet isn't a walk in closet like you have! It's just like the others. :(

  • We do have a storage room inside the house separate from the laundry room and it's a fairly adequate size. It's about the size of both of our bathrooms combined. We also have storage inside the garage, and there is storage to the side of the back porch, attached to the house.

I really like how you've made your house look like a home. I need to do the same but I've never been good at decorating. We don't even have curtains yet and barely any pictures up on the walls.

    Well done!

  • Good video. A picture's worth a thousand words, so a video must be worth what, a million? I wanted to let you know that the video makes it easy to understand what the housing is like there.

  • very spacious...nice tv ..i cant get no bigger that that ..lol
