it goes by the fps (frames per second). the more fps there is, the slower it will look because the camera is capturing more images because it is working at a higher speed, thus giving the name "high speed" :/ lol, idiot

frames per second means how many pictures can a camera take in a second, the more fps there is, the best quality vid it would be, so if you have a lot of frames you can slow it down and it will look cool beacause the vid is not going to looked choped, if you slow down a normal vcamara the video is gonna be choped.
