Kid i can tell you from previous experiences this trap is not catching like it should. U messed up when you went to the bigger bottle the bigger bottle has a bigger opening for the cap and this is were all the sizable fish are getting out at. the purpose behind this trap is to have an opening big enough to get into but small enough fro them to not be able to get back. out if you want the sam size take smaller bottles and put more together. hope this helps and happy fishing
