They didn't do a good job explaining it in the game. When I first played it I was like... WHA? WHAT AM I DOING? THen I figured it out... and it was quite enjoyable, but it wasn't explained well initially.

I like it when you read aloud what the full synch is in the objectives because otherwise I get nervous that you haven't read it ... and sometimes you haven't. ;-)

Oh, please do me the favor of playing the first AssCreed game too, Hank. I've never seen it. it's practically impossible to find Let's Plays of games that old, and I'm not a gamer, I'm a backseat driver. I'd never get through the thing if I did it myself, I'd end up getting adrenaline poisoning and then I'd get bored and do something else. So pretty please with sugar on top? The first one?

The tower defense is the absolute WORST part of Revelations. Probably meant to replace those fun little Animus puzzles from the last two installments...and it SUCKS.

Doesn't help that the story is pretty uninteresting.

More tips.

1.) You can upgrade your barricades which brings them to full health and makes them tougher.

2.) Be careful not to prespend too much morale as you might need an emergency barricade.

3.) crossbowmen work well with light armored troops, riflemen (while slower) are better against heavy armor. Pay attention to incoming troops on the pre-fight screen.

4.) Make sure 3 shot cannon is full for siege engines.

5.) Assassins only if other side has them.

Hank's ability for random jumping has gone down since Brotherhood.... This episode totally made me think back to the part at the coliseum where he jumped and screamed "that didn't work!" but it actually did. Here I thought he might repeat that with the water somehow but he failed... Oh well. Still awesome.

I'm not a fan of the den defense. Sure this one is easy, but the others are quite difficult. I would try to lower my templar awareness and there wouldn't be any heralds to bribe or officials to kill. Then how was I supposed to defeat the boss thing (like the greek fire machine) without bombs? It wouldn't let me have bombs for a while. And even with the bombs, half the time they wouldn't fire when I wanted them to (they were fully charged) So yeah. Not a fan of the den defense..rant over.

Hanks capture card can only capture something around 10 minutes or it will cause technical difficulties. Much longer videos than that has been done on Hankgames, but it doesn't always end well.
