Hummers aren't gay. They're a very technologically advanced vehicle utilizing portal axles, run flat tires, and lexan based windows. They're mainly designed for deep water, mud, and sand. With a turbodiesel engine, they can pull alot more than your shitty toyota can. I don't think that it could climb on top of that car in stock trim, or pull a non running object through water. Yeah I wish I had one. The original Hummer is actaully practical in many ways. I believe in the H1, I heard alot of trash talk from my friends about it, They all just like the H2 or the H3. No. They're not. Look at the suspension and some of the drivetrain components - totally different. And if you've taken both of them off road, as have I, you would know for certain the differences.

It's still the same suspension.. The only sagnificant difference - frame and rear differential. Considered extra weight and size of tires - H2 would benefit from it's own steering components (not Tahoe).
The only real difference is the middle part of the frame.

I have a 6.5 V8 diesel the Hummer the same year as my truck has a 6.6 V8 diesel.

@jtm3152 If you ever get a chance to look inside and underneath an H1 you'll see why there's that huge space-killing hump. You can also look up lynchhummer(dot)com. They're a really good source of H1, H2 and H3 info.

@jtm3152 In a regular truck the engine,transmission, transfercase and drivelines hang below the frame.. In the humvee/h1 they are tucked up into that huge tunnel. I think the added ground clearance is wonderful, My wife on the other hand...

H1 hummer are the only thing that should be off road, H2 and newer is plastic junk. GM screwed up. But made up for it with silverado's/sierra's. and the duramax.

Hummers aren't gay. They're a very technologically advanced vehicle utilizing portal axles, run flat tires, and lexan based windows. They're mainly designed for deep water, mud, and sand. With a turbodiesel engine, they can pull alot more than your shitty toyota can. I don't think that it could climb on top of that car in stock trim, or pull a non running object through water. So China can suck it and so can you JKTheDoc.. fag.

Yeah I wish I had one. The original Hummer is actaully practical in many ways. I believe in the H1, I heard alot of trash talk from my friends about it, They all just like the H2 or the H3. They're all good in my opinion but they should respect the H1 because it's for real men. and as a 13 year old, or as you all call me a "kid". I like it more then any useful 4x4 vehicle.

@mystfire LM002s spend most of their time in shops for repairs. its a POS compatred to the Hummer. The orriginal Humvee and H1 are built to take a beating and last, the Lambo LM002 is built to sit in showrooms and not driven while costing way to much for a finicky 4x4.

No. They're not. Look at the suspension and some of the drivetrain components - totally different. And if you've taken both of them off road, as have I, you would know for certain the differences.

It's still the same suspension.. The only sagnificant difference - frame and rear differential. Considered extra weight and size of tires - H2 would benefit from it's own steering components (not Tahoe).
The only real difference is the middle part of the frame.

@qscfthn67 Everyone says that, but they are really not. They both have a frame that is completely their own. Yes, they use standard GM engines, transmissions, etc, but saying they are "just Tahoes" would be like saying the Tahoe is "really just a 1500 pickup truck." They might share standard drive train components, but they are a different vehicle.
