I have a 74 Monte Carlo with true dual exhaust and no cats. There are some Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers on it but it is much too quiet. What should I put on: Flowmaster 40's or Super 44? Whats louder at the idle? Grüsse aus dem tiefen Süden.
@muscle1983 I've had a 40 series on a ranger v6 sounded alright, I had a 44 on 84 Lincoln 5.0 v8. If your going for loudness the 44 for sure that thing was intense. I also had it dumped right after the muffler

i got 40's and love them but i have done alot of research and found out 40's are louder but super 44's are deeper.

did you in stall the dual exhaust or was it on because i want to know how much it would be to put a dual system on my 72

it's a 350cui V8 Smallblock ... but now the car has a brand new engine (350cui 330HP), the engine from the video is wrecked now :(
