    I think he is talking about lats. And the little V for your abs are you lower abs.

    To get the V shape you want to really work our Lats! Just look at some of Scott's back workouts. The pull up is the best exercise for that. And with a shirt on you want wide shoulders for the shape, so do lots of shoulder exercises.

  • have you done a video for a workout with one of the exercise tube/cable systems, that you attach to the door. Its basically the same as a cable system using weights, except that to increase the weight or resistance, you either have to step further from the system or add more cables/tubes. If you are using your feet to hold down the cable as is done in many exercises, you move your feet further apart to increase the resistance/weight, or add more tubes/cables. Can also be done with fitness bands

  • what does re-releasing mean on youtube? doesn't the video stay there unless you or google pulls it for a negative reason? I think people would be alright if you said you didn't have an idea for this week or didn't have time to film it because you have a life, rather then making an announcement that doesn't mean anything.

  • make that with or on the dominant limb, in a bench press you will have to push harder with your weaker limb, As another example, with things like dumbbell curls, you can do more curls with your dominant arm. To balance out this weakness, you need to do more reps or otherwise work the weaker limb(s) to build its strength up that of the dominant limb(s).

  • Its hard to not have one arm bigger than the other on all of us, our dominant arm will not only be slightly bigger than our non-dominant one, it will have greater bone density as well. I have heard we tend to have a dominant leg, so I would expect the same is true with our dominant leg as well. This can best be seen in exercises like the bench press & others involving free weights involving both limbs & or alternating between the two, as the exercise will be easier with the dominant limb.

  • Hey Scott, what do you think about the "sixpackshortcut" plan that's on youtube right now? It's using something called the afterburn effect to get abs and lose belly fat fast. Is it possible? Idk, it seems like a joke to me but somewhat true...=/

  • @JakeLikesJoking Self-explanatory. You can't lose weight in a certain area. It's just everywhere. You could but that'd be cheating since the way to do so is surgery. When you run you don't just lose weight on your legs or whatever. You lose it all over your body. You can't do certain exercises to lose weight in a certain area.

    1 mile run

    100 pullups

    200 pushups

    300 squats

    1 mile run

    For time :)

  • @scotthermanfitness Hey Scott, I am currently doing full body work workouts 3 days a week(Monday, Wednesday, Friday). I do 3 exercises per muscle group. I want to get bigger but I feel that I have hit a plateau. Everyone tells me to do 10-12 reps with lighter weight to get bigger, I was wondering if you could tell me how many reps I should be doing.
