in this song at 2: 53 the group he is talking about is this group called the ROCK SQUAD it consist of 4 people .1) k solo - 2) dj eazy pee now known as PMD -3) Jerry J- 4) Groovy Groov who later became 1 half of the rap group Groov B Chill. his real name is Eugene Groov Allen he also played the drunk dude in house party.The group was called rock squad and they had one song called THE FACTS OF LIFE it was terrible. k solo should have never been hurt cause that song was wack.

30 years since I heard my first rap song( the Sugar Hill gang ). Thats a long time by anybody's standards. Ive heard it all, seen it all. This kid was AMAZING way back in 90'. I mean, aside from different beats and styles that have evolved over the years the "Superstars" have always been distinguished by either their perfect timing (Biggie) , their delivery ( Tupac ), or their ability to use an unbelievable amount of words ( Eminem ). Light years ahead of his time ! Those who know, know !

I used to play that "Tell the World My Name" album everyday. I got "Times Up" when it came out too, but after that what happened to Solo? It's like he just fell off the map.
