In the movie, the Grudge lady doesnt actually kill you. She enters the body of any women who go into the house, and remains there. the little boy is usually a warning of the woman being around. any man tht enters the house is possessed by the man who murdered his wife and son (and cat). The man then kills the woman who has the Grudge inside her and forces the man to kill himself. in the game, in never shows the man which is rlly confusing.

Clearly you guys don't know what the grudge is. It's a manifestation of anger, hate, and evil. If a person dies with a big enough grudge then that thing will target anyone that dead person knew or was related to. The grudge was going after those people because they knew it before she died. It doesn't go after random people.

The hospital bit was her sick mother, who was killed by the Grudge. The delivery boy was her brother, who was also killed by it. The security guard was her dad, and he was ALSO killed by it. She was calling her father in the house, and that was his cell and body in the attic. Erika was killed in the house
