My dad drives a Volvo v70 (2004) with 200pk, beast car in 3rd and 4th gear... It drives really smooth at 220km/h (my dad drove with it then). I learned driving a car with it and passed my driverslicence exam with it. It makes a lot of noise too and nice sounds when you shift the gear. I'm not sure what its max is, is there anyone who knows? It's a diesel car. I love to drive it, but it's turningcircle is way too wide... :)

I don't dump my battery out like a flashlight battery. It has a 10 plus year life on it, which is greater than the expected life of a regular car battery or boat battery.

Still, they can be recycled as well. Not just dumped somewhere.

I went from a truck (22mpg) to this one, which is getting 58.2 in the city (w/o highway driving). I almost save 66% on the amount of Co2 gasses put into the air. At over 100 million personal cars, that is a lot of fresh air.

Funny. I reached also a bit over 260km/h with my S60 2.4T (so not a T5) and it looks a little bit faster in acceleration than this V70 T5 though it has 50HP more than mine. However I didn't try 4th gear until 230km/h like you. I don't know if my 4th gear can go so far, I only pulled a bit over 210km/h before to shift the 5th gear.

I think it only runs around 250km/h, you can see the speedo going to 260km/h (so subtract some margin).

Each speedo shows a bit faster than the car actually goes. That's why you need to subtract some speed from it.

This Volvo has a rev-limiter I think, because by the book it can't run 155mp/h. But a lot of German cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) have agreed to put a limiter in at 155mp/h (250km/h), that's why a lot of cars do not move faster. For some cars (BMW M-series etc.), the limiter can be removed for a fee.

v70 2000- onwards had 250 bhp

v70 2005 onwards had 2.4 engine with 260 bhp.
