@ryanmcneal I'm not sure how life is in Germany, but here in the United States we as people are mostly treated as robots & workhorses, with our only purpose being working and making money, as dictated by society. It creates a rather dull, miserable life and overall state of being. So, when Americans see a film like this where a young man takes a day to just enjoy himself with his friends, we react to it. You see, we all wish we could be Ferris Bueller at some point. Hope that helps.
