    There really isn't any reason why they could of done this apart from More Ad revenue/investment capital by putting the amount of page loads to actually get to videos up and make their figures larger.

    I hope it is a mistake and not intentional.

  • I had made a suggestion to YT in the past the they should removed videos I've watched from the subscriber page, and although I think they just flushed everyone's systems, that seems to be what's happening now - I watch them and they don't come back. But, I never see more than 10 new ones anymore.

  • Interesting MissTruly. My account had already been removing the videos from the list that I had watched. Now it still removes them after I watch them so right now My Subscribers page only has about three videos on there. Hopefully they'll get it fixed. Have a great weekend dear. -jim

  • It's not just you, Jim...I'm now having to go through each and every one of my subscriptions to see new videos, it's infuriating! Whatever YouTube has done this time, I hope they fix it soon! >:-{ *hugs* ~Marissa

  • No kidding! I emailed them about it this morning, and I'm sure I can't possibly be the only person who's done so. Let's see how long it takes for a response/solution to come...if it does at all!

  • Yup, I only see 10 vids showing on my subscriptions page. Very annoying. I wonder if this is along the lines of the problems they had with the disappering new subscriptions preview on the front page this last weekend.

  • I am having the same problem and if there is a new video in my list from someone I subscribe too, sometimes the video is not available for a few hours. Things were going pretty good before they started to upgrade or whatever they are doing. For awhile I couldn't find my subscription list at all and could not check on any video's that I uploaded.

  • Mine is the same way...I hope YouTube doesn't consider this some new "feature" because I don't see it as a feature at all...I prefer it the way it was, where is was pages of videos and not just the most recent ten that have been uploaded...hopefully they fix it soon --Amanda

  • I noticed the subs as well as the uploads have been really screwed up the past few days. Yesterday, I had NOBODY in my subscription list. FRUSTRATING!!!

  • It isn't just you!!! I am currently going through my subscription list (luckily a lot shorter than yours) and finding the latest videos that I've missed. There are some major issues going on here.  I had to upload videos for the sanctuary page for hours before they'd show up. Argh!

  • I did my first video...so you can check it out...I was nervous...but will do another one...I hope tomorrow.. Oh and YouTube has been acting up...you are not the only one...I couldn't log in at all the other day..finally gave up...tried again...and had to change my password...to get on..

  • Yeah Jim, same here. Don't know what's happening. I've taken to going down the list of those to whom I sub so I can see if there is anything new from them. I liked the way it was, the videos were listed even if they were old. Gave me a chance to catch up if behind which I've always been. Hope they fix it.

  • Well as I always say it's the glitch of the day - whatever that is. They would do well to leave it alone if it's not broken. Also the 4 videos that show on the main page you used to be able to scroll through indefinitely. THEY only number about 10 now too. This place - why I bother. I know - I love the friends I've made. ONLY reason I stay.

  • Oh don't quite stumpie. They screw stuff up every now and then but they eventually get it fixed. YouTube has actually been working very well lately and then they have to go and tinker with it. LOL Hang in there, it'll get fixed. -jim

  • Yeah, I HATE it.. I believe it was done on purpose because for a few hours they took it off so it doesn't show the new videos from the people you're subscribed to on the front page..if you understand that:p

  • Hey Jennifer. Thank goodness I haven't had any trouble with uploads. One trick I learned a while back is to go in and edit the description or something once the video uploads and it process much faster for some crazy reason. -jim

  • YES - Jim, I've had the same problem! For a whole day, they weren't there at all, then the next, there was only a few there. There are still only a few. Maddening! The only way to see my subscriptions vids is to click on "subscriptions" under the "your account" link at the bottom, THEN I had to click on each name as even the "subscriptions" page only showed a few vids! Pam

  • I even tried resetting my settings for subscriptions, but that didn't make any difference. This explains why so few of my subscribers have commented on my new videos! (not a ploy for attention, just an observation). Anyone know how to change a video's icon the youtube editors selected? One of my vids has a ridiculous capture used for the icon. Has NOTHING to do with the video & if you look at it, it doesn't compel you to click through! I complained to youtube days ago & no response.

  • Unfortunately YouTube doesn't give you that option like some other sites do. If you want to choose the icon for a video, you have to place a photo or clip that you like in the exact middle of the video. If it's a 2 minute video, you can place your icon clip or photo at the 1 minute mark. -jim

  • I always go to the bottom of the page and click GOT FEEDBACK and tell them the issue. A few days ago they didn't even have your subscriptions on the front page! That lasted a few days. I was rather disappointed if that was going to be a "new feature" but I see where it's back again. I think they're working on a bunch of tricky things right now. I'm trying to be patient, but when you're used to having it one way, it's hard to adapt!

  • Yep. It is a bugger, so either a return to how it was, or some star or marker by the channel name which has new content from the last time you logged into YouTube.

  • How about using Feedback located at the bottom of the screen, and including Optional comments? Gonna do that myself now.

  • YES! Look at the extreme bottom left had corner of this page, and you will see in red "Got Feedback?" Click there and answer your questions, I already have about this techo problem :)
