  • Shark Shield EPIC FAIL video on the FreediveInt Youtube channel. Its hilarious and will make you think twice... :)

  • Rob Torelli is my freinds uncle

  • hahaha nearly shark shit go the noahs ,

  • sting rays are just flat sharks

  • yeah really good

lets see if the device works while the sharks are in a feeding frenzy!

wouldn't it be logical to wait until the sharks are full before you go testing the shield?

that way you have less chance or worry that they will turn on you

  • I sometimes ride the waves on my bodyboard.

PLUS,I use a motorized 2 stroke Aquascooter to pull me out to the back line, and voila',I become shark bait in no time!It is believed that the local sharks are now conditioned to approach the motor noises.

Hence the Sharkshield - I will NOT go into the water without it.

"Ja,but does'nt the Sharkshield limit your movements?" laugh the other surfers.

Yes,ever so slightly,I answer, but not as much as an amputation or a permanent visit to the morgue.

  • Shit I just brought 1 and I never though it was 100% protection but at the leaset very close to, now after watching that it looks like its more a case of odds n evens on the russian roulette table with this thing. I think my confidence is gone! so much for that peace of mind that I was hoping for... mayb they should add a panic button.

  • im a biology major and zoology minor and i just wanted to toss my two cents out there. you gotta remember the shark uses the sense disrupted by this for searching for prey, not attacking. it smell and scent for that.

  • Well from the evidence shark shield usually work the vast majority of the time, but jumping into a feeding frenzy of sharks is still stupid even with one of these things on. Nothing works 100% of the time, not including user incompetents.

  • hmmmm, I own a shark shield.

I've personally had it work on sting rays (which they say aren't affected, but I've found are) and a blind shark

  • The Shark Shield does work on stingrays. They are from the same Elasmobranch family as sharks..both have Ampulae of Lorenzini (the sense that is effected by the Shark Shield). The reason we do not make the claim is due to insufficient testing on stingrays and skates.
